And he says Mahomes isn't OC dependent. If anything Mahomes is dependent on his HOF offensive whiz head coach that designs the offense and calls the plays. The same head coach that made Alex Smith look decent right before Mahomes. The same head coach that was already considered a "QB whisperer" before Mahomes arrived.

Also he’s wrong. Allen had a turnover in week 1. Dude can’t even keep his facts straight. I feel bad for these talking heads a little bit. There is only so much you can say about a week of football games before you start repeating yourself or spouting nonsense.

I’m not using last year’s game as a reference for anything. Dorsey called a bad game and we had to fly across the world. I believe we will be able to run on them, but like you said we shall see. One difference from last year to consider is McGovern in for Morse allows for a more physical interior line. Ironically, Morse is on the other side now (along with Gabe Davis).

I’m not sure what the Dolphins have to do with this. The Dolphins have one of the worst offensive lines in the league. We have one of the best offensive lines in the league.

I mostly blame last season’s loss on Dorsey. The London game was the beginning of the end for him. The last time Trevor Lawrence won a game was Thanksgiving of last year. I’m just not that concerned about it. Josh Allen is 8-1 in his last 9 games (regular season and playoffs) for comparison. Jags biggest asset on defense is their pass rush. Brady cracked the code last year vs the Cowboys. Neutralize an elite pass rusher by running at them. If the Bills lose this game, it will be because we gave the game away.

Jags have been terrible. Bills shouldn’t have to do anything special to win. Just keep things simple and no major mistakes (*cough* Burrow fumble for a TD *cough*).

I think this move is kind of dumb, unless the idea is to let Young sit and watch to get his head screwed back on straight with the idea that he’ll be the starter again in the second half of the season. If the Panthers are actually trying to win, then they are dumb.

It’s a good question, a related question is: do they allow the Bucs pirate ship to fire its cannon? Are all projectile weapons banned? Should the Bills introduce a sideline trebuchet to launch an opposing fan out of the stadium on scoring plays?

He hasn’t shown that much. If he produces 600-800 yards and 5-8 TDs the next couple of years that is in line with Davis and Mooney, and I guess I wouldn’t be opposed to that sort of deal. Davis and Mooney both have team-friendly outs in their contracts after 2 years, so they aren’t huge commitments. I might try to lock up Shakir for longer with maybe a smaller cap hit if possible.

Any violent gesture is now banned. I think any mimicking of guns counts. Even a bow and arrow celebration will draw a flag I believe.

I don’t think it’s dumb that the Falcons scored so quickly. They have stunk in the red zone all game. They needed a TD or game over. They can’t get cute wasting downs.

Pretty lame call. I know they introduced the rule because guys were getting ridiculous after first downs, but I feel like it has not been consistently called.

The 2nd MVP was so weak I’m not giving it much weight. First one was obviously very strong and legit.
