I think this is voted on by the players, and they seem to not like Allen for some reason. Maybe it's all the trash talk.

He should play better in the playoffs then.

Looked over the wrong shoulder but still able to adjust for the catch. Having Shakir, Kincaid and Coleman being very reliable targets for intermediate type routes should make the offense almost unstoppable. Maybe not as explosive as in years past, but we'll be churning out first downs.

CeeDee Lamb is holding out. Cowboys just like shooting themselves in the foot. Would love Lamb on the Bills.

Brissett is pretty good for a stop-gap. As the Bills I would much rather face Maye.

Apparently he has diabetes and doesn’t manage it well/doesn’t take it seriously. That was the rumor anyway. A lot of teams passed on him when he should have been a mid-1st round pick based on talent and production. So something was up there to fall like that.

I’m not really worried about a play like that. The way teams play the Bills and Chiefs takes that play away usually. It isn’t going to be bombs away now that the Chiefs have somebody fast. Worthy will need to show he can get RAC on short passes, and burn CBs on intermediate routes (like Hill does).

He was dropping the ball way more than usual, and not fighting for catches like he normally does. He was definitely “off”. Whether it’s because he lost a step or just mentally checked out is kind of irrelevant to us. He had to go. His buddies supporting him, and his new teammate saying he’s in the best shape of his life are pretty much irrelevant. Similar stories come out every offseason for washed players. His play on the field will show it one way or the other.

If Bills don’t get a 12 men on the field penalty in the Broncos game, and our soft as butter defense doesn’t allow Mac freakin’ Jones to march down the field for a game winning 2-minute drill TD drive, then Allen very well may have won MVP. It’s entirely narrative driven based on what I can tell.

Anybody who knocks Allen for lack of playoff success isn’t worth listening to. His stats are almost identical to Mahomes on a per game basis, including matching him basically score for score in their h2h matchups. This is with Mahomes having a wayyyy better defense than Allen. This is with Mahomes having potentially 2 HOF receiving targets during that time. This is with Mahomes having possibly the greatest offensively-minded head coach of all time (guaranteed HOF). This is with Mahomes having All-Pros on his offensive line for a couple of those playoff runs. Allen had zero of those benefits. He basically does it all himself. It’s just a moronic take.

If it’s a GM, AGM, or person in scouting, then those people pick favorites in the draft and are completely salty when reality doesn’t work out the way they envisioned it. A lot of people were down on Allen at the draft and have never been able to let it go. In a total NFL redraft, Allen would go #2 overall. It’s basically impossible to overrate him.

As a person who watches most of the Sabres broadcasts, I think Dunleavy has improved (but he still isn't my favorite). Just listen to the ESPN broadcasts sometimes and Buccigross just goes on and on about nonsense while the play is going on. Just call the game guy! I listen to some other team broadcasts occasionally, and there are some pretty bad announcers out there. I think Dunleavy is now at the top of the bottom third of NHL play-by-play announcers. High praise! /rant

People go crazy for professional lacrosse and corn festivals. I imagine that with a little bit of imagination and program identity the Bulls could draw better. We draw the same average attendance as Western Michigan, which is in Kalamazoo, i.e. the literal middle of nowhere. We get outdrawn by Toledo recently, a significantly smaller metro. Not to mention UB undergraduate enrollment is 3x WMU and 2x Toledo. It's just sad.

They didn’t trade Diggs because he’s old. They traded him because he became a pain in the rear to deal with.

Considering how zealous Bills fans are it’s surprising that UB hasn’t been able to capture some of that excitement.

I don’t think we have the cap to do this right? If we did make a move like this, I would hope it would be more of a long term move. This isn’t the year to go all in.

Mistakes like that were Gabe Davis' specialty.

Milano if the team thinks he’ll never return to form after that injury Bass if he has a bad camp Rapp if they like the rookie and other vets they signed. Elam if he has a bad camp Trubisky if he has a bad camp. Lots of backup QBs floating around out there. ^ I don’t think these will happen, and they would surprise me. But they are within the realm of possibility. I don’t think they will cut Miller, the dead cap is too high.

Drawing DPI is as much on the WRs as it is on the defense or refs. They need to run through contact and draw the call. Allen had several deep jump passes where the WR (frequently Diggs) could have come back to the ball to draw the call and didn't. In fact, instead of a catch or drawing DPI, the ball was picked a few times that way. We'll see how this new group does. A lot of new faces.

I think everybody aspires to one day become a cautionary tale.
