  1. Probably should have been roughing the passer on the hit that led to the int. Was pretty forceful below the knees.
  2. Raiders mailed this one in. They gave a much better effort in the first matchup. These fellas have their Sunday morning tee time on their minds.
  3. Crosby split his double team and got held like crazy there.
  4. Actually they can, and they will. They are the new Patriots, complete with their fans believing they get screwed over at every turn.
  5. I was in favor of a coin flip to determine the outcome of the game. Then no other changes would be required. Nobody could say it wasn’t fair, because it is sort of the definition of fair. Plus that game was a 50/50 toss up anyway.
  6. I like how Murph calls the games and hope he can be back at it next season.
  7. Eagles have lost 2 in a row, KC scraped by a terrible Denver team. If the Bills won Monday night they would have been #1 for sure.
  8. I have to agree. Idk why they didn’t just flip a coin for the outcome of the game and move on.
  9. If the Ravens beat Cinci this weekend and they end up being matched up in the wildcard, then they will flip a coin to see where the game is played. Cinci is going to roll the Ravens, so it’s irrelevant.
  10. I understand why they chose this solution, but does anybody else think the Chiefs have the best luck in the league? Every little thing seems to fall their way. Outstanding warrant?
  11. So if the Bills, Raiders and Ravens win then the Bills get the bye and HFA throughout the playoffs. Is that right? I’m hoping for that outcome.
  12. Honestly kind of bummed about this solution. I was looking forward to possibly buying tickets to the AFC championship game in Buffalo this year. Pretty good odds if we make it we will be playing the Bengals or Chiefs.
  13. My speculation is that the competition committee came up with a plan that they like, but they feel like they need buy-in from the owners. This meeting might be a sales pitch and looking for anybody who objects.
  14. So the competition committee met today and couldn’t come to an agreement, so now they are meeting with all the owners? Or maybe they are presenting the solution they came up with in the committee and getting everyone’s blessing? That or flipping a coin for the result of the game.
  15. We smoked them earlier this year, but TJ Watt makes me nervous. That guy changes games. Luckily their offense is trash.
  16. I think we could beat New England with our backups if it comes to that. Reminds me of Barkley shredding the Dolphins for a half a couple years ago when they had a win-and-in game.
  17. Is he the ankle taper everybody was giving so much grief?
  18. They’ve done this sort of thing before. The offense takes a delay of game and the defense declines the penalty. I mean, they could have at least waited until next week. Maybe some players want to talk to the media.
  19. Considering the Bills are currently #1 seed in the AFC with all the adversity they have faced I don’t think it would be a pity vote. Part of McDermott’s problem is too much sustained success. COTY seems to always go to someone who surprised everyone by succeeding with a middling roster. Bellicheat would have won it like 10 years in a row otherwise.
  20. Sometimes getting back to work and your regular routine can be helpful. Of course, it is different between individuals.
  21. If it isn’t going to be played, just flip a coin and be done with it. You can weight the coin slightly if we want to give the Bengals a small advantage since they were winning. Call the game a 2-0 victory and move on.
  22. My kids won’t play (or at least I will try my best to steer them in another direction). Not because of the Hamlin incident though. I’m more worried about concussions and head injuries. I’m hoping they are more into soccer or baseball. I know every youth sport has injuries, but football seems to really mess people up.
  23. They could move around the playoff games, but I doubt they would want to do that.
  24. It’s possible they did and the team or NFLPA pushed back. Pure speculation and we’ll never know for sure.
  25. Well we aren’t the players, right? We’re fans on a message board for discussing football. And I am guessing the thought has at least crossed the minds of some players since it directly impacts what their next month of work looks like.
