  1. He’s better than Davis right now for sure as long as he doesn’t pop for PEDs again.
  2. Ravens, Bills, or Chiefs is my guess. Eagles are also a dark horse, and Pats if they give him a wheelbarrow of money. Diggs, Hopkins is elite on the outside. Gabe Davis is fine rotating in and giving them a breather. Kincaid in the slot and Shakir in there somewhere makes me feel really good about our weapons. Not to mention Knox is a top-15 TE in his own right, and Cook is supposedly a receiving RB (remains to be seen in the NFL, but was definitely true in college).
  3. Camera adds 15 pounds
  4. Apparently he has talent, but can’t stay healthy. Beane probably sees him as a player that could win a backup LB position in training camp.
  5. 4pm games are the worst. We might be 8-0 going into the Cincy game.
  6. These sports media personalities intentionally do this sort of thing to stir people up and get clicks. If they don’t get clicks, then they don’t get good numbers for advertisers, which means they don’t eat.
  7. Who’s making excuses? He’s had a bum ankle every year. If he can’t stay healthy and get separation then we should let him walk for sure and limit his playing time while he’s here. I think the ankle affected him the whole season, unless he just has an absolutely bizarre gait.
  8. Idk, if you have a bum ankle then you can’t get separation and you can’t cut well. Then your catches are in traffic and everything just gets harder.
  9. I know his position is TE, but what if we just pretend he is a big body slot WR and have Knox play the actual TE position? His blocking needs work for a TE, but it is probably pretty good for a WR.
  10. Idk how they measure impact of injuries, but: - Allen’s season fell off a cliff statistically after his partial UCL tear. - Von Miller was a huge loss. We really missed him in the playoffs. - Hyde and Poyer were both All Pros the prior season. Hyde missed the whole year, and Poyer was gimpy and probably just playing because he had to by the end of the season. - Tre White was an All Pro corner and taking up cap space, but never really returned to his former glory - D. Jones made our run D respectable and he was sorely missed in the Bengals playoff game. And there are many more…our entire secondary was backups for the first Miami game, and we ran out of starters on the O-line by the end of the game. It was a bad injury season from my perspective. The prior season was much luckier.
  11. The idea of a mechanical/robotic lion is sound. These AI tools are good for coming up with ideas, but you still need a human in the loop to create a good final product. For now…
  12. You don’t know if they are those guys until they are drafted and play a while, lol. If you have a crystal ball to know how draft picks will work out, could you give me some stock tips?
  13. A lot of our older guys are on short deals, I don’t really see a problem here.
  14. If Allen stays healthy all season then it’s easily the over.
  15. Saffold was possibly the worst guard in the league last year. If we can get league average performance from his vacated spot, that would be a huge improvement.
  16. Maybe they will if they view Hines as strictly special teams? Maybe they have one less WR active in that case? Otherwise it will be Harris and Murray fighting it out for that last active spot every week.
  17. Well if we can replace one of our expensive ST players with a UDFA, then I call that a win
  18. I wanted Jones, but he seems to be falling so maybe there are issues with him.
  19. We should trade up and grab him then!
  20. Any tackles left? I don’t want Spencer Brown to feel comfortable about his job in camp.
  21. Between Morse, Bates, McGovern, Boettger, and Torrence, I feel like we can actually put together a decent IOL. Last year it was maybe our weakest positional group. Now I think it can be at least average and not lose us games.
  22. Considering he gave up zero sacks his entire career in the SEC, I don’t think it is that easy. We won’t be pulling him for run plays, but keeping Allen upright is more important.
  23. Wasn’t Ford supposedly athletic? This guy is supposed to be an immovable object but isn’t considered athletic at all. He should be great in pass protection at least.
  24. We were one of the worst short yardage teams last year (at least relative to how good our offense was). We’ve effectively solved that. We will slam Harris behind Torrence and convert it every time. Maybe 1/5 times Allen keeps it and goes to the edge.
  25. They were all in on Kincaid for sure.
