So will each season keep running the same path? Get to the play offs, lose to a good team. Rinse and repeat. At want point does having a unicorn at QB put pressure on McDermott to pick up the big prize? Or does the unicorn decide he wants a change of scenery because it's not going to happen in Buffalo.

I think, if Josh does win MVP, then the last two years prove that stats don’t blindly fit football or the MVP vote. Lamar didn’t have the best underline stars in 2023 and Josh doesn’t have the best in 2024.
-
Sorry if this has been posted but I’ve just been reminded of something - week one screwed over both the Pats and the Bengals. If the result was reversed, the Pats would have the one seed and the Bengals would be in the play offs.
-
The post you quoted doesn’t refer to the quality of the receiving group but the time to throw and average separation. Ravens receivers are far more open than Bills receivers, no matter their individual quality, and this lives up to the eye test as well.
-
Would it be quicker to list who the Jets haven't asked to interview?
-
Lamar being -10000 last year just shows how everyone - Josh included - had doubts over them. In reality, he had an average at best year last year, especially when you compare it to what he's done for the Ravens this time around.

There have been changes. Mental health, rightly, is seen more importantly than it used to be. The old approach used to be "It's your job, get on with it". The old approach probably wouldn't have seen him given any time away from the facility, or the very least it would have been dictated by the Bills - you have two days then you must be back. Now it's person first, job second in situations like this.

I'm assuming perfect coverage means the number of receivers covered by a defensive player? Which adds up when you see where Jackson is on the chart.
-
Thing like this and, what was the other chart which was posted a couple of weeks ago? Throw accuracy against covered receivers, I think. And Josh was clearly the best at that too.
-
But he'll no good to the Bills if his head isn't in the right space. Timing sucks but, if he has suffered a family tragedy, he deserves to be given the time and space to grieve and also deal with all of the legal issues which will subsequently arise. Not come back and play just because fans want a ring.

Stupid to play him to the extent they did on Sunday. He's been key on Special Teams.
-
That’s fine, as that will mean Surtain can’t blanket someone else… Shakir?
-
I shouldn’t read articles online as I now think Lamar’s got it. And if Josh gets it it’s only because of voter fatigue.

Did the Bills purposely lose or is New England just plain stupid?

They would have been better off with Brissett under centre if they wanted to lose. He wouldn’t be as concerned about proving himself or putting play on tape. Milton, understandably, wanted to make a mark. -
That’s true. Though it could go either way - the Broncos could play and coach with free abandon whilst the Bills tie up. I’m reminded of the Dolphins play off game in 2022, where they were just relieved to make it and didn’t think they had a chance with Skylar Thompson at QB, then only lost by three. Though I accept their were extenuating circumstances for the Bills performance that post season.
-
That’s true. I do think the stress levels from Week 18 were slightly different. I didn’t follow the Broncos game closely to the very end - I assume they were able to pull the starters? And I don’t think the presence of a SB winning coach can be underestimated either.
-
The Bills were emotionally exhausted after getting the play offs in 2017, having to fight off a Dolphins comeback then waiting around to find out how Baltimore’s game played out. That degree of being spent bled through to the game against the Jags. In comparison, the Broncos practically cemented their play off place in the first two drives, so the game became a no stress party.
-
To be honest, I’ve got to the point where I feel, if they want to vote for Lamar, they should just give it to them as it just feels like, to some, Josh will just be a token vote as Lamar has two already. He deserves more than that.

Both. If the Bills really wanted to win, Josh would have played. If the Bills wanted to win, Mitch would have been kept in. But the Pats didn't really try to lose, either. The message must have been go out and prove yourselves, rather than play within. Maybe Meyo did know he was off and wanted to screw the franchise over on departure. Can hardly blame him if so. -
If he somehow manages that I imagine us fans will be calling for him to go.
-
Not surprised. The Ravens offense looked average a best until they let Henry loose.

Just to break down the stats as well, as many are backing Lamar over that. Lamar: 4172 yards from 1074 snaps (3.88 yards per snap) Josh: 3731 yards from 968 snaps (3.85 yards per snap) Lamar: 45 total touchdowns from 1074 snaps (0.042 TDs per snap) Josh: 41 total touchdowns from 968 snaps (0.042 TDs per snap) And, to be fair... Lamar: 9 turnovers from 1074 snaps (0.008 turnovers per snap) Josh: 8 turnovers from 968 snaps (0.009 turnovers per snap) I wish someone would point this out. What Lamar has done is extraordinary, no one can deny it. But given the opportunity, Josh was on track to do practically the same thing.

I just watched that on YouTube. The comments underneath are quite something. Makes me feel like no one rates Josh outside of Bills fans and a few talking heads.

Three days ago he was still backing Josh, so would like to hear about the epiphany. Can't see today's Facility up on YouTube.
