  1. Scott Hanson: Tennessee and Will Levis at 3 and 22, what are you calling? Me: An interception? Nearly was too. Another miss for Koo - 4/10 in FGs over the last five, I think they said, games.
  2. Based on records, I thought Sky might air Cardinals-Vikings as the main early game rather than Steelers-Bengals. But there is a logic to it, with so much hinging on it and with the Ravens to follow.
  3. Why am I so nervous about this one? Is the because it feels like everything is pointing to a win? Josh and the Bills' December records, the Niners injury issues, Milano back, the weather, being played at Highmark... But the NFL doesn't work like that. No sport does. And my biggest fear is if the Niners get the running backs working as a unit rather than over-using McCaffrey. The Bills run D is not the best. Get the win, no injuries, and move on.
  4. Yes, think they kept a slot open for him.
  5. Good teams pull out wins from poor performances against bad sides. Bad teams end up with losses despite decent performances against good sides. We've seen it all before from the Chiefs. Until they're knocked out of the post season they are a threat.
  6. We would but we can't for that reason. I don't want the Chiefs to limp to post season, grabbing the #1 seed through luck, and then a switch flipping. But it is very possible.
  7. I swear I read that a couple of other late afternoon games - Pats at Cardinals/Colts and Broncos? - are on CBS so how can it be a national game akin to the Chiefs one? Have they given their other games to Fox?
  8. Daboll meet Eberflus.
  9. The Giants are doing well only being three down considering they don't have an O Line.
  10. Are we going to have a hurdle per game today?
  11. Sky in the UK are revelling in showing the Bears meltdown during breaks in play.
  12. Wonder if that's where Ben Johnson may end up?
  13. But why didn't Eberflus step in? He could have at least called the remaining time out.
  14. Losing teams know how to lose. Why didn't they spike the ball or call the timeout?
  15. Though if Williams hadn't flicked the ball in the Bears players face, the Lions offense would have been rolling. Bad calls, stupid decision making.
  16. Playing down to the opposition. Will be interested to see if they can flip a switch if the Bears get a TD here.
  17. No. Their remaining schedule is: Home to Raiders Home to Chargers at Browns Home to Texans at Steelers at Broncos In that order.
  18. My concern is that Shanahan decides to shares the RB load between McCaffrey, Mason and Guerendo. The Bills run defense is hardly elite.
  19. It could be an attempt at mind games as well. The Bills may meet the Steelers in the post season - this is an attempt to get into Josh's head and hope he pushes things too far to prove Elliott wrong. Or I could be over-thinking.
  20. The article says CBS could protect the game. I imagine they have time to do so, and will do so before the deadline.
  21. Isn't the argument being made that they can afford to have all these players on offense because Purdy is on a rookie contract, and is doing enough to at least keep them in post season contention?
  22. Both the Niners and Purdy have a big decision coming up. If I was Purdy I'd take whatever they offer him. They're making him more than the other way round though, in his defence, he is making something of the system, which not all QBs can do.
  23. I'd start Levis over Jones at this stage. Younger and more room to develop. At least allow him to see out the season as most of his errors are the boneheaded kind which, with the right coaching, could be ironed out.
  24. I imagine FOX will look to protect Bills-Rams. Looking at the schedule, cannot see which other game they'd value over that.
