  1. Yeah, you could be right with that.
  2. When Mahomes has a bad game, more often than not, he still manages to pull a great play out of nowhere. He doesn't get emotional. He doesn't get down on himself. He doesn't get that dear in the headlights look or, if he does, it doesn't linger too long. If he was playing to Josh's standard against Houston in week five, I think he would have found something to at least take it to OT if not win. The Bills defense had the Texans offense under control for majority of the second half. That's where he has an edge on Josh. Pointing out the coaching differences and general strength on defense is fair and accurate. But Mahomes re-calibrates quicker when things are going wrong. If Josh played like Mahomes yesterday, would he have mentally pulled himself together to drive the team down the field and get the required points? I'm not so sure. Josh is better than he was, but he isn't quite up to Mahomes' level yet. And I think that's why Mahomes isn't feeling the heat, along with the 6-0 v 5-2 record.
  3. Very true. Won't change my mind... not for the moment anyway. 😁
  4. I'm just not going to be someone who kneejerks over one off games. I had doubts about McDermott and co at the start of the season, and that hasn't gone away yet.
  5. Still an issue. The first half should have been better and it's been a long term problem. Against the better sides, it leads to defeats - see the Ravens, the Texans...
  6. He missed a chip shot last week. Small victories...
  7. Got the Lions-Vikings game on on the iPad. This is an epic.
  8. They claimed the Titans were challenging the spot, not the catch. The catch was successful but they agreed with the Titans over the spot.
  9. I think Josh likes his new #1.
  10. They probably thought the Bills wouldn't be silly enough to try it.
  11. This is much better but the Bills cannot keep sleepwalking through a half and expect to win games. Especially against the top sides.
  12. Whilst Josh is going through a tough time others need to step in and help. Other QBs get that, and goodness knows that's been Josh's role in this team for a long time. And that's what happened on that drive. Hopefully the TD will settle him down a bit.
  13. Well McDermott wanted complimentary football. Every facet of the game is complimenting each other.
  14. They can only beat who is in front of them. And thank goodness it's a bad team this time as they may get away with it.
  15. On the plus side... it's only 10-7.
  16. I can only think he's not running because of his hand, but it takes away a key advantage of his play.
  17. Josh is a problem. I know to some he is a saint who cannot be criticised but he is a problem.
  18. He may be free to return, should he want to, before long.
  19. So much being slow in possession to give the defense a break! 😁
  20. It's early - even 10-0 there's time to come back. But I don't know why everyone looks so flat.
  21. Sounds like their excitement level is approximately the same as McDermott's so put them through NFL coaching school as soon as possible.
  22. I don't mind keeping Hollins. I'd prefer releasing someone from a other position - admittedly I have no idea who.
  23. Having read the whole thread, love the trade but not such a fan of releasing MVS. Have a feeling he'll come back to haunt the Bills, but admit I'm in the minority there.
  24. I'd love to know what happened at the two minute warning at the end of the first half. The calls weren't perfect, but the weren't affecting the game to a drastic extent. It was a decent game to follow. And then the refs seemed to insert themselves and it started to unravel. Though not as bad as McDonald's end of half defense. And sadly we've seen that too many times before.
  25. That would explain yesterday's officiating.
