Feels like we're not mentally there. It was always going to be tough but this is embarrassing. -

Seems like mens vs boys to be honest - and we're the boys. -

Need the defense to get a turnover here. Being down 14-3 won't be good, even at this early stage. -

Let's hope this isn't Josh's 'Jaguar' game. -

We've obviously decided it was an error and have given it back to them. -

Unusual, normally we hit the ground running - it's the second offensive series which usually looks off. -

We've been playing against blitzes for a while. Josh's success in getting out of trouble has been really helping this team. -

Great if we win, isn't a disaster if we lose. I'll try to keep perspective this week. -

Why give opponents an upper hand by giving away too much information on our injury situation? -
NFLPA initiating investigation into Tua’s concussion protocol
UKBillFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The question should be asked why did Miami take advantage of the loophole to put Tua back on the field rather than using their own judgement, with evidence clearly showing no back injury? -
The NFLPA - whose thoughts, I think, are along the same wavelength as most people - sacked the doctor. But they can't sack doctors hired by the team.

Despite my OTT reaction last week, my pessimistic prediction at the start of the season, once the schedule was released, was a 2-5 start before winning the remainder, except maybe against the Bengals. So it'd be great to win tomorrow, but a defeat won't be the end of the world.

They pulled him in 2019 when he suffered a head injury and wanted to continue playing. Though we wasn't quite the central figure then he is now, but I think that would mean we'd protect him even more in these kinds of situations. Not that that should be what decisions are made on - if someone's concussed they need to be pulled from the game immediately.

NFLPA initiating investigation into Tua’s concussion protocol
UKBillFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I presume against those from the NFLPA who were asking him questions about it? Although this is the right move, anyone watching Tua could see he was concussed. It should not have needed a independent consultant to say he's concussed before pulling him from the field. I hope that win is worth it for the Dolphins. The '3' against their name is clearly more valuable than Tua's health. -
Only just switched over - did anyone see what happened in the Oklahoma @ TCU game please? A serious injury by the looks of it; hope he's ok.

I think it’s also because there’s an element of a victim complex from Bills fans towards the media over Josh. That every error and mistake he makes is magnified whilst it’s overlooked with other quarterbacks. Whether that’s fair or not is up to debate, but I think that’s why there is an attempt to criticise, in some cases overly, other quarterbacks who are doing well - because there’s a feeling they’re waiting to come down heavily on Josh but not many others.

I think it was split over Araiza’s perceived guilt, more than his position on the team. I guess when it first came out it was split but, as time went on (bearing in mind it was only three days between the news being released and him being cut) and the furore around the team grew, more and more people realised it was not workable for the team and would have been unimpressed had he been kept on.

NFLPA initiating investigation into Tua’s concussion protocol
UKBillFan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
If it was Tua, then rule him out for the rest of the season. Firstly, it protects him; secondly it sends a message to every other player to put their safety first, otherwise the risk is this continues. And whatever Tua said, everyone watching could see it was concussion, not his back, so the franchise trying to fob everyone off doesn’t wash.
