  1. They did this last year too. From the outside looking in, still think they're a threat.
  2. Wait - you CAN call penalties against the Jets defense???
  3. Will have to check but it feels like every game but Raiders-Bills is a one score. Got two going into overtime as it stands too.
  4. Most of the crowd were annoyed because they could see what happened today was possible - it just relied on Josh using his head as well as his body. One weird hurdle aside, he did just that.
  5. That was better than I'd even dreamed.
  6. Dorsey in his ear mid play: "Don't you dare... don't you dare..."
  7. Not that I want to rehash old ground, but Monday wasn't really down to their defense. Hence the talking heads losing it during the week.
  8. Have loved the offense so far today; to me it's been a good mix and has had rhythm.
  9. I do wonder whether he had second thoughts about just running into him for that reason, so tried the leap instead. But he could have slid. For the first time in NFL Redzone history (15 years) - every team on offense at the minute mark has scored points.
  10. I'd agree for the most part, but he had a guy on him and I think he was trying to get down. Wouldn't point the finger on him at that one. The hurdle - definitely. Not sure what he was thinking there.
  11. Wasn't it because it was a headshot? That was stunning by Josh and Shakir.
  12. Don't blame Josh on that - he was trying to get down.
  13. Richardson had a concussion check. Not sure if he's back in the game.
  14. That was awful by Josh - Diggs free at the back, and a guy to his right.
  15. Let's just be thankful he's finding a Bills receiver at the moment.
  16. They might get fined for it after the game. 😉
  17. You might want to stay in the bathroom - 7-0 down.
  18. Last thing Josh needs is going on the field seven points down. Come on, defense!
  19. Me neither. But as long as the Bills can stay in touch it's about the finish, not the start.
  20. This is the flattest I've felt going into a Bills game for quite some while. Last week was very concerning and, even if lessons are learned today, will they be long term. Important thing, even more important than the win possibly, is Josh looking like his old self. Elite isn't necessarily required at this stage, but compotent is.
  21. I have no issue with Dorsey's play calling. He gave Josh options on Monday and, if he'd have taken them, it would have been an easy win for the Bills. It was much the same last year. My greater concern is the way things are communicated with Josh, and how he has helped through Sugar High moments. Certainly there seems to be a lack of presence on the sidelines. As for Sunday, I think Josh is going to go two ways - either force it again to prove he can do it, which may or may not pay off but in reality won't be any different to the Jets game, or go ultra conservative and defensive to protect the ball which again may or may not pay off, but won't be 'him'.
  22. Agreed. Still hope he's gone through concussion protocol after Monday.
  23. Both can be true. There seems to be a desperation to set things out one way or another. He DOES do stupid things, and gets bored with the dink and dunk. That doesn't take away that he COULD have been concussed Monday night. And the stats from before and after the second hit are quite startling. That doesn't mean they shouldn't go in hard on him (in a way it sinks in) about his decision making, but I hope they've put him through concussion protocol as well.
  24. I think this is a very valid point. Either way, Dorsey won't be with the Bills for long unless he becomes HC. He'll succeed and become a HC in his own right, or fail and be fired. It was only because Josh took, and was given, time to develop that Daboll hung around for so long.
