    After the Houston game I found this candle at Ollies. The scent was "Smells Like Football Sunday". I bought it and we won every Sunday I had the candle lit. The one loss I met some friends at an Eagles bar and didn't leave it lit at home. I truly believe in the mystical powers of the Ollies candle.

    I believe that was Eddie Robinson who got juked out of his shoes by Chad Pennington vs the Jets. I think he was a rookie that year also.

    Taron pick 6 vs Baltimore Sams Thicc 6 vs Pats Hyde's pirouette catch and return vs Miami's attempted onside kick. Benford Burrow Pick 6. It's either Taron's or Benford's. Both were turning points in the game. Taron's was a playoff game with Bmore about to go for the tie from about the 8 yd line. Benford's was the spark that the team needed to pull off the win. I'll pick Tarons. Because it was a playoff game. It deflated the Ravens psychologically. They didnt seem in it after that.

    We went through the same situation Aug,2024. Augustus (Gus) our Basset Hound was 11 years old. It was one of the most difficult decisions we ever had to make. The sadness is difficult and definitely comes in waves. Just remember the good times you had with her and she had with you. They're only here for a short time. Which reminds me of a poem.... "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right? Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay for as long as we do" It gets easier but sometimes for no reason out of the blue you'll think of her. Just smile and be glad she was in your life. Hell, I just teared up last week thinking about Gus.
