What’s it gonna take to improve /prioritize our run defense?

In the regular season and that's the issue. How do we take the next step if good teams can run the ball down our throats in the playoffs and limit our possessions. -

He should have been suspended for the remainder of season including playoffs. -

As they said on the Sunday night broadcast, the Bills D is designed to force teams to run the ball between the 20s. This bend and don't break philosophy is great in the regular season and works against 25+ NFL teams. Where it consistently fails is against teams that have elite running games. Henry and Barkley are often, but not always, this team's kryptonite. The question for the Bills is how to adjust the defense to limit those teams in the playoffs. I'm not sure McD has ever found an adequate answer. -

Week 14 - Bills at Rams Game Week Thread

The Bills are 6-1 in the last 5 seasons when playing on the road in the Western US (Denver to the West coast). The only loss is to AZ in that crazy game 4 years ago. I’ll have to research the Bills record in Domes. -
Worrying about PFF grades from this past game is a waste of time. Game conditions gave the rushing games a huge advantage and the Bills still won 35-10. Winning the turnover battle 3-0 helped us significantly but we also were able to pass the ball more often and more successfully than SF. Time to move to the next two games where we’ll have good field conditions on the road and we’ll see how our run defense holds up.

The point of the OP stat is that McD and his players do a good job of learning from their mistakes and don't let a few bad games ruin the season and in fact comeback stronger. I wish the Sabres could learn the same thing. As Berman says, no one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills.

He's a Gator. What else do you need to know? -
The Bills are now 7-0 after the two game losing streak earlier in 2024 in 2023 after losing to Cin and Den the Bills went 6-1. In 2022 after losing to the Jets and Minn mid season, the Bills finished 7-0 down the stretch In 2021 after losing to TB and NE in weeks 13 & 14, the Bills went 4-0 to finish the year In 2020 after losing in weeks 5 & 6 to Ten and KC, the Bills went 9-1 to finished the season That's where he gets 32-2. Edit: It's actually 33-2. The Bills are 7-0 after the 2 game losing streak this season. Before the 2 game losing skips the Bills were 25-8

The Bills are also 17-4 since Brady became the OC. They are undefeated at home this season (6-0) and have scored 30+ in each of those games. They have also scored 30+ 6 straight games (all wins) and have 30+ in 9 of their 10 wins. They have also kept 5 teams to exactly 10 points and scored 30+ in each of those games. The Bills also have more TDs (43) than punts (40) and the SF game was the Bills first without a field goal.

Damar Hamlin leading pro bowl voting

Well considering he was screwed out of the Comeback Player of the Year last year, this is the least the NFL should do. -
He had wrist surgery and was placed on IR following the 2nd Miami game. He has to miss 4 games before he returns if he physically can return.

I think you mean Jordan Phillips. Getting a healthy and productive Kincaid back would be nice.

Bills record - FIFTH straight AFCE Champions

I love all the comments about the lack of talent on the Bills roster. I know these geniuses get paid for having an opinion, but do any of them actually do any research to support their utterings? The obvious place to start was with all the first years starters from last season in Benford, Benard, Torrence, Kincaid, Cook and Shakir. All those guys played great last season and got better as the year progressed. It seems to me it was more likely they'd build on last season, especially as the team last season went 7-2 down the stretch anchored by Josh and the kids. The team also returned 17/18 starters depending on how one views Von Miller. Since Brady became the Bills OC, the Bills are 17-4. -
More genius from Rich Eisen and his buddies. They all had Fish, Jets, Bills and then Pats.
-
Another great set of predictions. The host “Trev” for PFF had the Bills at 8-9. Both geniuses had the Jets with their broken down QB as the division winner at 12 & 11 wins respectively.
