    This is a “stat” that I simply can’t shake. HC and coaching easily swings equally talented 53 teams by 1 score losses.

    "The Process". LOL. When you guys think about it. There really never was "a Process" (No book, no "Patriot Way". No Tampa 2. No unique approach. No roadmap.) McD is really just an barely average Operations Manager.

    There is a huge difference between a SB HC and promoting OC to HC etc. I’m convinced that McD is a few football IQ speed points below what SB HC needs to be. Proof of bad HC is Bills loss margin of error nearly always 1 score. That is on the HC.

    Hmmmm. Could it be that GM brought in the capability but the HC not efficiently ramping them up? Wait! Coaching matters!!?? Agreed. I am a “best player available” in general, within reason.

    He is quite “safe”, until he is not. Not making the playoffs with 17 will be the nail. McD without 17 would have already been fired. Times is up, unless he makes the playoffs. Then it gets weirdly hard to judge, if they make playoff.

    Terry isn’t in this for the money (tickets or contracts). If he’s not having “fun” (however he defines it….then). A $7 billionaire can’t spend it. I’m sure he likes Sean but if Terry isn’t having “fun” because of Sean costs Terry .01% of his children’s inheritance

    I'd like to hear an argument that says McDermott is getting better at his job after 7 years into it. Don't most people get good at their jobs in year 3? I'm being honest and serious. I just don't see any growth.
