I think the NFL is getting close to a tipping point. Between the streaming push, Thursday games, odd kickoff times, and the rising injury issues, the old magic is fading. What made the NFL great was being able to flip on Sunday night, watch two random teams, and still be entertained. That’s happening less. And honestly—who thinks a Saturday Wild Card game on Peacock is good long-term? I’ll normally watch every WC game, but not on a random Thursday or a streaming-only peacock service.
