  1. Obviously anything could happen but I think the Bills win comfortably. It won't be a blowout but the game will never really be in doubt. 1-0, BABY!!!
  2. I could definitely see that happening with the Dolphins. Not because they don't have a pretty solid team and coach, I just don't believe in Tua. It's harder to predict the Pats. I can see them faltering again because of weak (or rookie) QB play, but with their defense and BB, they could be a tough out. It should be a fun season for sure. Go Bills!
  3. I get that it doesn’t mean much until you play the games. Nobody has won anything yet. Yes, I agree. It’s still fun to talk about though. Considering that some used to wonder if awesome college football teams could beat our bills to a post that says that our bills back ups are the second best team in the division, we’ve come a long way as a team. Go Bills!
  4. I definitely agree with you, that has been the overall pattern. That said, I don’t think it’s just a McD thing. I think most good teams go through stretches throughout the year where they’re not themselves, it gets hard or they get into a funky stretch where they have to push through. I believe many times that’s what separates a mediocre/decent team from a good/great team. Can you push through when it gets tough? Can you still win even on days where you were somewhat off or not completely in sync? The Pats had a few seasons where that’s what their September looked like. Some started to write them off. Then, they’d either get to AFC Championship game or end up winning the Super Bowl. Like you mentioned, the bills will most likely face that type of stretch again this season. And to your point, if they can play .500 ball during that stretch, they should be fine. Go Bills!
  5. I do think they have a good chance of sweeping the division again. They’re definitely very capable of doing it for a second straight year. That said, as someone in another thread mentioned, even with the two decades of dominance that the Pats had, you didn’t often see them sweep. They usually got tripped up by Miami once a year.
  6. 🤣 nice! It must feel good to be on the right side of these posts now. Go Bills!
  7. I think it really depends on each teams QB play. And the QB play is hard to predict. You have a washed up cam/rookie in NE and then you have tua, who I don’t think is going to do much, in Miami. Even though Flores has been solid so far, you most likely give the upper hand to BB though.
  8. As usual, good thoughts, MJS. It’s very cool to have the depth we have this year. Some of our backups may have been starting for our drought teams. Heck, even JA’s first year. Don’t know if it’s a testament to how good we are this year or how mediocre we used to be. Probably a little of both. 🤣😜
  9. Good thoughts, bro! The patriots, because of their defense and BB could be a distant second. You could make the case for Miami too but I just don’t believe in Tua. They’re a decent team and could be competitive at times but I believe he’ll bring the team down.
  10. I agree. JA the whole way!
  11. Oh, I totally get it. Sometimes though, the best backups are the QBs who have some starting experience. Fitz is a good example. MT will most likely be gone after the year anyway. Go Bills!
  12. 🤣 Nice! I guess there’s no Sports Almanac for me then and we’ll just have to see how it all plays out.
  13. Hey Doc! Can you please go into the future and then come back and let us know if the bills win it all in 2021? By the way, Back to the Future is my favorite movie of all time. So, I love your forum name.
  14. I know we probably won’t be able to but it would be awesome if we could keep MT around a year or two longer.
  15. …the Bills backups. I got a kick out of this when I saw it. Do you remember the days where people thought that maybe the Alabamas in the college world could beat our Bills? 2021 is gonna be fun. Go Bills!!!
  16. Have you ever had the problem of scores showing when the showing scores option was off? If so, is there anything that you were able to do to fix it?
  17. I like Daboll but it’s not even close for me. You keep McD.
  18. Yeah, to your point, you’d think that the NFL would be able to make something that was so much better when it comes to not being super buggy. On top of that, this has been around for a few years now so you’d think they’d have the kinks worked out since it’s been around for a while.
  19. I hear you. I really think it’s a cool app but I can’t get it to hide scores even though I have programmed it to high scores. Nooooo!!!
  20. Yikes! The GW timeout thing. WOW!!!
  21. I totally get what you’re saying. That said, I just think you need some veteran presence with your rookies, and again, he’s still really good. Also, we all know how much McD values the veteran presence.
  22. While there are definitely exceptions, rookies typically go through stretches of struggle even if they’re really good. You definitely want to have some veteran presence around (especially when they’re still good) like a Jerry Hughes type.
  23. They should’ve been worrying about him last year too. He sucks! So glad that the Dolphins are trying to give him more time. They can stay down in the division longer.
  24. This started happening last year, but except for a few teams, the bills just look like they’re in a league of their own. It’s awesome and exciting to see!
  25. Except for the two-point conversion fail, I’ve liked our short yardage running game today.
