Week 11 TNF: Zona at Seattle Battle of the Birds
Boxcar replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They just absolutely love those dual threat QBs Except Josh Allen -
I read it like they are concerned with his health. I agree with the decision to sit Morse last game and give him an extra two weeks to recover. There's absolutely zero chance that McD thinks Morse isn't a critical player on the O-Line, and how much momentum could the "current group" have when it's a different set of guys almost every down, it seems? I have no idea why he chose to answer this way but Morse makes a lot of money and he's one of the most critical components of that line, plus he was obviously playing very well.

Joshs development has been amazing

Even with good weapons, aside from Cole Beasley, there have been a ton of drops, so that makes Josh's season more impressive. His accuracy has been off and on but I think what has really helped him turn the corner is his vast improvement in reading defenses and faking out defenders either with his eyes or bluffing throws. Really good at selling on play action, too. -

Tell that to the Browns, Jets, Eagles, Giants, Dolphins (Rosen) and there are tons of examples. Picking QBs is a crapshoot. You aren't even close to guaranteed a franchise QB with the 6th pick. -
Completely incensed by the officiating yesterday

Are people not allowed to voice opinions these days? -
Kyler Murray might be dynamic, but he isn't moreso than Jackson or Allen, and he isn't in Allen's league throwing the ball. He's also short. I thought I'd just throw that in there. I don't really see this game differently than, say, the Raiders game. I think the defense and the O-Line have been making huge strides since the Jets. It honestly blows my mind that the Bills aren't favored by 7, never mind being dogs. We should feel disrespected.

Right now, line for me (in Ontario) is +2.0. I bet moneyline. Real head scratcher, anything can happen, of course, but the Bills are a lot better than the Cards. Josh seems to play a lot better in warm weather, too.

This was the best scenario. They looked pathetic against the Jets but don't go into tank mode.
-
Wouldn't you?

While the Pats losing to the Jets would be hilarious, the last thing I want is the Pats being in the mix for the top pick.

I just feel bad for Herbert. He did everything to even get the Chargers in that situation. Anthony Lynn sucks.

Now run to 4th down. For the love of God, don't keep doing the things that got you in this position. -

Yep , this is what the Bills will do. Run for a 3 and out, punt, and try to get the Seahawks back in the game. Good call on giving up a net of like what, 25 yards? -
Damn, Stu Feiner got it right

I like how Terry Bradshaw didn't say a single word about Josh's performance- 987 replies

Wilson is better than Josh (hurts to admit) and Lockett + Metcalf are better than Diggs + Brown or Beasley. If the Bills win this game, it's up to the pass rush and corners + Hyde to prevent the deep ball. The open field tackling has to be much better, too.

Ok This Dolphins talk is getting out of hand.
Boxcar replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True, but the bottom line is that the Rams had a bad game. I think the Dolphins are pretty good, and I always strongly disagreed with how they were being dismissed early in the year, but they aren't division challengers quite yet. They have 5 games I where I would expect them to be dogs (Chiefs, Bills, Pats, Raiders, Cardinals) and a few games that will be very tough (Broncos, Chargers, Bengals). I see only one game where I'd feel comfortable betting them to win, against the Jets. -
Seems like Bills Mafia is expecting to lose by three touchdowns, so anything less should be considered a victory.

100% agree. Seahawks should be favoured, but -2.5 to 3.5 seems about right. If it actually goes to -7.5 or something, seems like easy cash. Also, having Feliciano back is huge. Hopefully Morse can play too, but is it a coincidence that the Bills got their run game going same day he made his return? Josh didn't throw a lot, but he didn't need to, and pocket protection will be a lot better. Bills need to pressure Wilson. Zimmer has made a case to be starting, I think. Even past the amazing forced fumble on Cam, he's played very well. This game will be on Wallace, White and Hyde to reduce those deep shots and hopefully the LBs can contain the underneath pass plays.

I'm baffled by Bills twitter. These guys think the Hawks should be favoured by like 10 points. They beat the Cowboys and Vikings by a combined 8 points. What
