Just what did you see in Moats and Carrington to predict dominance? Even Kyle Williams, while a very good player, is not dominant.

I have to agree as well. Keep tham but don't overpay and don't hesitate to replace them with better players. We cannot keep filling the same holes over anbd over. Especially when we will not spend money in free agency. The Bills are the poster child for UDFAs and others teams practice squad players.

Having a hard time finding any correlation here? Beside that, Nix was a scout for the Chargers, not the GM. Butler ran that draft and the team. Butler built the Chargers in the early days, and was followed by AJ Smith. Not to discount Nix's ability as a scout but the man has never been in charge of football operations at the NFL level. We also do not know if he has a plan. He is a good football scout that Wilson knows and is comfortable with. That is it so far.

The majority of the top QBs are in the Manning/Brady mold and Newton is not that. Newton is a risk but the upside is collosal. I will leave that pick to the experts but I think Fairley is a beast on the DL and could see him contributing right away and being an impact player down the road.

We have the worst run defense in the league. We have one of the worst pass rushes in the league (could be the worst). We have a coaching staffing that wants to play 3-4 with holdovers from a 4-3. It is hard to believe they will not take defensive line or LB with the first pick. If there is a player to build around in these positions then you have to do it.

Coach Gailey said that the game was too fast for him. Another way of saying he lacks experience. It was his second start in two years. That all said Brohm still does not show much IMO I think the Bills will draft a QB. If not early then expect them to try to find a developmental project (ala Levi Brown) in the later rounds. Right now the team has no viable backup to Fitz.

I think we should give Spiller another year before the gloom and doom. Ballaga had his problems too. The best OL picked after Spiller was Saffold (1st pick in round 2 by the Rams). He is their starting LT. Bill Polian himself has gone on record and said he should have taken him. If the Bills took Saffold at 9 the football world would have cried reach.

No one in your list of five is a pass rusher. We need a DE or OLB that can pressure the QB. That would be my top priority.

I actually saw nothing in the line play to support a strong running game. I think we should have done more to try to run and that should have been Plan A. That is all. I think Gailey had Brohm throwing too much right from the start and the Jets teed off on him. I also think that the O-line really misses Hangartner.

True. Experience would teach you to take the sack and not force a bad pass that will be picked.

I saw nothing positive in Brohm today. However, to be fair, he has no real game experience and our WRs ans TEs did nothing to help him. I think Chan expected too much and should have simplified things for him. This was the game to run the ball and feature Freddy Jackson. This was the time for our OL to make a statement against a tough devision foe. Brohm needed Jackosn to carry the load. There were drops and fumbles by Stevie Johnson and others that also hurt us. Overall Brohm showed a real lack of experience and was not comfortable in the pocket. He made bad decisions and his reads were not good. Is that what you want to hear? More importantly, I learned that Fitz makes our offensive line look halfway decent when they, in fact, are not.

Sounds like PTR is not a Brohm fan. This game shows me how much help we still need at OL. Centet and tackles are getting owned.
