  1. I agree on JM and also on Culley. Tomlin was position coach as was Judge for example. I think JM getting an interview is a joke. But with Rooney likely guys getting interviewed who may not be ready would impact that. I think Tomlin and others like Frazier and Bowles earned the right. Other may not have so just let the process take care of itself.
  2. Because Flores is all about integrity and ethics
  3. They interview minority candidates who get a shot. At 37 I think Flores got his shot pretty early. So Miami actually was open minded probably on the high recommendation from Hoody. Who he just stabbed in the back. The more black coaches who get into coaching will get more opportunities. It takes time to build the bench strength but many black coaches are up and coming. But no one is owed anything.
  4. Seems the Dolphins issue is about ethics and character. If he was so principled he should have quit at that time. But that part of the suit has ethical merit. With respect to the Giants and Broncos he was a 24-25 HC at the age of 40. Each of the OC’s have high value based on strong performance of offenses and QB’s- a huge trend in the NFL. Conversely he has struggled on that side of the ball. First in agreeing to select Tua over Herbert. Not being able to develop his agreed upon QB, and an inability to find the right OC to build continuity. By backstabbing Belli it doesn’t prove anything. Other black coaches had been interviewed.
  5. So Levi is to blame? Yikes that’s a big assumption. If McDermy is so detail oriented Levi’s task should have been communicated. We also rushed 4 needlessly and didn’t bump or double hill or Kelce. So the Levi did it is hard to land on for me.
  6. Exactly they focus on spite with the opportunity to go the the SB. Perhaps it was the smart football decision. I get your point because it’s painful based on Bills poor decision.
  7. He worked with DaBoll. All the other OC candidates are likely linked to other teams for the same reason. I would have zero concerns about his ability to call plays. JA is more knowledgeable now and can help that transition significantly.
  8. From what I have heard DP took the fall for the disfunction of the Eagles front office. He could have handled it better certainly, but he’s a knowledgeable offensive mind with a decent amount of success. I think he could do a great deal with a talent like JA. Think he’s a potential candidate for the Jags if the Leftwich deal goes sour. He’s asking for GM to fired and bringing his own guy in. If not he’s not taking the gig.
  9. That would very cool. But JP lives in the Dana Point area of CA. Just north of SD. He’s created himself a swell business as a QB guru. Combine climate and the insane workload of NFL coaching I don’t see it happening. But if it did I would also be pumped.
  10. Or he could stay and have a good shot at winning a SB with JA. Having been his coach all through his vast improvement. So that’s the upside. But can see both perspectives for sure.
  11. And him actually stating that he likes him. As does his GM so that’s evidence. But your saying he’s saying it to get a job. During interviews he could actually say.. hey I don’t like your QB. They could easily draft one in the top 10 or even early in the 2nd(Carson Strong) for example. Or go into the QB market with the 2 top 10 picks they have. Why would he want to commit to a QB who will essentially determine his success as HC if he doesn’t believe it. Rather he would say that’s not my guy. I propose options A, B, or C. They are going to give him some time since he came in with JS at same time. Just my thoughts 💭
  12. Yes seems like it’s hit or miss .. if it’s zero it’s delay
  13. Dang today was painful.. KC finds a way to blow a huge lead and let a lesser team win. Rams try to let niners have it but niners just too inept.. meanwhile because our coaching staff can’t communicate properly JA hottest player in league watching SB
  14. Holy yes .. no other way to play it. Huge mistake
  15. About 4th time Rams got away with that. If it’s zero call it !
  16. He’s certainly in his range of player yes I have in similar area
  17. That’s fine. I’ll give you that. Good points made by you and Mr Weo..
  18. Eyes is a reference that he has to be accounted for. For example passing stats undervalue JA. Significant weather and wind will always do so with his passing stats. That’s my point for Knox vs Schultz. Not a scout but yes watching the tape and not just combine numbers undervalue Schultz. But in game situations he’s good at what he does but clearly not as explosive as Knox.
  19. Correct so as I have stated I feel he’s top 10. You may not agree. Bills should offer fair contract. Clearly you don’t see that value. So don’t sign him. Then we can look for another good TE with upside. Seems simple right ?
  20. Again with the stats .. it’s stats and eye. Easy for me to see him in the 8-12 range based on how i look at it. Others just look at data and that’s your perspective. And that’s fine.
  21. That’s something we can all agree on I’ve never debated about his contract. He’s valuable to this team and in particular the QB. So as I’ve stated let’s provide a fair contract for both parties. I’m assuming he’s open to that. With his upside and JA it will be good for this team. Seems logical.
  22. The guy runs a 4.8 so he’s slow. Again. you chose to fall back only on stats. Others actually watch the guys play. Your the metrics guy. Simple is your inability that others may not follow your metrics as facts. I will take a combination of the data and watching the game and impact a player has. I don’t need your 100% metrics to establish an opinion. Again I’m answering the ? in the thread. Simple..
  23. Man why are you so arrogant. You asked the ? answer it yourself I don’t care.
  24. Wow as previously stated it’s not all about the stats. I could care less. What part are you missing ? You mentioned te’s who are in the next group after the elite 4 or 5. He’s clearly in the next group.. ie top 10. Watch Schultz play who I like and runs and 4.8… then watch Knox. With a high TD total. If you don’t like him that’s fine. Any other objective fan be they Bills or other would slot him in the top 10.
  25. Waller is in elite group Gki maybe Schultz solid but limited explosive plays, Fant potential but bit disappointing so far.. Ertz good but on back end.. so again firmly in top ten. My answer was to the original poster ? And I’ve answered that as stated. He’s exactly what Bills have lacked for many years and is viewed as up and coming current top 10 TE. Fmuth is not as good as Knox and it’s not close
