That seems to not align with McDermy’s presser post game. But your point reinforces Bills were aware and so confident they cut Haack.

I think Bills discussion should have been to 19-tell us before the draft. Since he didn’t it appears they took calculated risk that this would not go public. And they lost. Now imho just for not helping Bills be prepared that justifies his release today. Even if ultimately innocent. The Bills brand can’t have 6-9 months of being dragged an enablers. Given how hard they have worked over 5-6 years to seriously become of the top respected franchises in the NFL.

Sorry key point. If he’s shown to be involved. Think the challenge is this thing will both linger and likely not definitively prove his innocence. It’s civil not criminal so far.

Couple things: 1. No matter what this young girl had a terrible thing happen to her. I wish her peace and the strength to get through it. 2. I’m surprised the Bills with apparently some knowledge of the situation didn’t dig deeper. Particularly post Watson situation. 3. The Bills reputation is on the line. An honest transparent presser post “ addition investigation”. Where they release the punter and apologize for not doing the right thing originally. This could railroad what is expected to be a potential SB season.

The least of the Bills worries is the punter suing or them worrying about the nflpa. Court of public opinion is currently crushing them. This at a time when the Bills image has never been higher !! That’s what they care about. If McDermy has his way based on his presser.. things they gotta do is get the facts straight.. then cut the punter. I thought it would happen by noon.

Actually no people don’t. The acts regardless of age are agreed the key issue. But if that can’t be proven, age then becomes the issue. So yes it’s important.

I don’t know why they don’t just suspend him until the situation plays out. If the Bills were as through as they say- then they can bring him back. If it turns out he did all that he accused of then he is cut. In the meantime the Bills get a punter( who can hold). The Bills statement really puts an intense amount of pressure on their credibility. At a time when the brand is at an all time high. This is a pivotal point for the franchise. If they get additional info they need to immediately apologize and take accountability.

People are sharing facts. That is not a defending him. Once all the facts are out a judgment can be made.

Completely different situations. Most on here are saying let the situation play out. If he’s done what he’s accused of then he’s gone. Mina Kimes already blasting Bills investigation. If that’s deserved we will all agree. Bills are certainly acting like they are all in supporting him. So I think a bit of patience is required. Bills have demonstrated an organization that has its act together. Time will tell. If they are on the wrong side of this it will hurt the franchise in a very big way. A great deal at steak and the Bills ownership/leadership know this.

SDSU just built a new stadium. They are likely getting into the PAC 12. They are a top mid major program. Appreciate that doesn’t mean much to Bills fans. But certainly I don’t care if Alabama you do what’s right. Anything that slows this investigation based on football is totally unacceptable.

Both lawyers come across as POS. Not impressed with the approach of either. Bills statement says they throughly investigated. They better have because they are already getting crushed by media. I think the RB’s are having a strong camp. Cook brings a special element. But A Kromer is really making an impact on the OL.

The Bills will replace them with players currently on the roster. And unlikely the same year.

Elam played today before Benford suggesting he is ahead of him on depth chart. Both played fine, Elam with a penalty overall ok. Benford good in run support. I’m actually impressed with both and depth at CB seems to be holding up.

Unfortunately it’s the world we live in. Young $ meaning people under 50 will be the buyers. And they will sell out. Dual income families who make 150k and above. They work hard and play hard.

The suggestion is the 6th round corner is outplaying the 1st round corner based on a speculative article. They both looked good vs Colts. If they are both good, that’s a great problem to have. The likely case is Elam gets more field time this year. That is based on draft status, upside, and a solid if not spectacular camp. The Bills draft DB’s well and develop them well. Let’s give McBeane and Leslie Frazier credit. It’s only good news for me.

Your saying the Bills haven’t invested in offense talent? Diggs trade, Knox, Davis, Shakir, Saffold, Crowder. They scored about 40 points a game in the playoffs. Pretty clear O isn’t the problem. So they logically went D in the draft. Slow at corner so trying to address it.

Rams tickets almost last row at SoFi 6 @$370 each 😆 as has been said supply/demand. Just like concerts it’s gotten unreal. I remember being pissed about $50 playoff tickets in the 90’s.

OJ Howard has elite upside. Knox had a break out year and is the 8-12th TE in NFL. We are good. 6 or 7th round who can block to compete for roster spot sure👍

Duke is 28 and has thrived in 3rd down role. I think we are set and imho think anything before round 6 at RB is unlikely. But appreciate your thoughts. I’ll be first to give you props if Bills go that way.
