  1. One thing for sure- the days of the lowest ticket prices in the league will end. Also, PSLs will likely be a part of the stadium plan.
  2. The Raiders will pick up and go back to LA. They still consider it "home turf" and lay claim to it. The franchise is valued about where the Bills are. Mark Davis has said he has thought about it. He has even less loyalty to Oakland than Al. By moving to LA. the value of the franchise goes way up. They may not even have to pay the penalty for relocation since they still lay claim to LA. They will not get a new stadium in Oakland next year and they play in a terrible stadium older than the Ralph and they have poor attendance. Now that the Niners have their shiny new stadium, watch and see next year how this picks up steam when they are rejected for a new stadium. Since people are discussing Buffalo as a possible relocation option for LA, Mark Davis will think about getting there sooner than later. I would put money on it. No way he will let another LA team reap the benefits of an area they feel is theirs. Check back with me on this post in 3 years.
  3. It they went to Toronto they would lose everyone on the American side of the border. If they go to LA, they will lose everyone in Ontario and WNY.
  4. This lipstick is going to buy us 7 years until we get the permanent solution in place.
  5. We have seven years to get a new stadium in place. This is what it will come down to.
  6. As Rust says at the end of True Detective: “Light versus dark. You’re looking at it wrong, the sky thing. If you ask me, light’s winning." I think we've seen the worst of it. The last few days with the support for Kelly and the outpouring for Ralph, you see all the positives. I predict that in the coming months that we'll start to see the groups come forward that will ultimately keep the team in Buffalo. In addition, I think the team is going to turn the corner on the field. It will come together and this dark time will be behind and the team will be as strong as ever.
  7. If the trust will indeed run the Bills for the next few years, this may be big benefit to the Bills remaining. It could allow time for LA to get a team or teams before any sale. It may actually speed the Rams return to LA. It will give the stadium group time to come up with a plan for a new one and it will allow local interests time to get things in order and get the support needed to make a move..
  8. There is a good write up in the Buffalo News about what comes next. The short of it is- nothing for several years while the estate sorts everything out. Then sold to highest bidder, but there are many reason why it would be prohibitive to move them, lease, fees and support. Golisano and Pegula and the Kelly group are mentioned as possible suitors. LA is the main threat.
  9. So long and thank you, Ralph. Now what happens?
  10. Good bye and thank you Ralph. Talk about a crazy week. Now, I am worried for the future of the franchise.
  11. No way- if the Rams go, the NFL will be dead to St. Louis. That is one town where the NFL takes a seat to baseball. The fans there will quickly move on. This is no Cleveland or Houston- the NFL will never rush to fill the void. They are reluctant to build a new stadium for the Rams and that is what will ultimaty drive them away and no team will relocate to a dome that is considered outdated.
  12. I have zero concern for Vick. It's a desperate move for a team that I feel we are going to pull ahead of in the next few years.
  13. The Rams will be in LA after 2014. The Raiders will not get their new stadium in the Bay Area and will follow.
  14. Not a fan of domes, but retractable would be ok. That way it can be used for other events. Lucas Oil Stadium does look pretty nice.
  15. Just saw it- never would have expected that.
  16. I think we're all wowed by The Mario signing a few years back, but this has been just as good. Wow- Marrone and Schwartz must be saying all the right things.
  17. I have faith he will beat it again.
  18. Dolphins should be lower. Bills are a good bet.
  19. Tim Hortons, Molson, Labatts, Crown Royal, Canadian Club, Ceasars, Strippers, Curling, Round Bacon- there would be much to love about Canada House. I'd hang out there.
  20. I wanted him traded last year. Franchise him and try to ship him for a second round pick. Of course, now that means we have a sudden draft need.
  21. This will ensure a massive crowd for Andre's speech.
  22. They cycle in new blood constantly so no surprise.
  23. NY is a wealthy state. It curses the Buffalo area with taxes, but when stadiums and arenas are needed, money is there. Mario Cuomo was very helpful in getting the new arena done. Maybe his son will help get the new stadium done?
