A Few Thoughts About the Dolphins Game, in no particular order
Turbo44 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Barkley hasn't played in over a year - I don't mind him getting extra reps like the bomb to Davis. Especially with Miami calling timeouts with 5 minutes left, down 720,000 points. And Flores is a former Patriot, once a Patriot always a Patriot. Fck them- 108 replies

Round 1 Playoff: Colts at Bills - Sat. 1/9 1:05pm
Turbo44 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ahh - I hope they can keep Dane Jackson and Williams on the active roster. i hate to lose either to another team, if teams can still pluck players Maybe with the way McKenzie plays/played we realize we don't really need Stills? Not overreacting to McKenzie's game today, the guy just makes plays when he's in the game. With Brown seemingly healthy, I don't see the need?? -

You re right. For some reason I thought JAX beat INDY in Indy in week 1. -
Round 1 Playoff: Colts at Bills - Sat. 1/9 1:05pm

Yep - read somewhere that INDY played in like 11 domes this year, 4 warm weather outdoor games and Pittsburgh. I may be oof by one, but it's close. Give me 20 and no wind (I don't care about light snow) and we're golden -

How did we call up 4 PS players? Who was sent down off the active roster? I imagine we'll need a spot for Stills this week too -

Not sure why anyone is complaining about 1pm Saturday - common sense people. 1. We were at home and finished at 2:30 today (at least the offense did). 2. Indy finished at 7pm IN JAX, has to travel home now and travel to BUF Firday- that's not much time to prepare 3. Isn't there less chance of weather and cold at 1pm than primetime? Bad weather can be the great neutralizer 4. If we win, we get a ton of time to prepare for Pittsburgh (hopefully), who plays Sunday night and will have a shorter time to prepare for us. Cleveland almost lost to Rudolph today and had a terrible track record in PIT. CLE will be happy to just be there. Plus - I'm sure PIT in Buffalo is a better matchup for BUF than BAL or TEN is for KC. -

Yep with Mason Rudolph at QB and a couple of other key players sitting. Best case scenario: BUF beats Indy Pit Beats Cle Bal beats TEN (I think BAL may have the better chance to beat KC? But I can be argued from this) Buf beats PIT Bal beats kc Buf beats Bal Buf beat Was - ha!! Actually TB -

very nice info - thanks. Keep us informed about Leonard -
Belichick tended to play his starters at least through half time, even when they had everything wrapped up. If the game meant something he played them the whole game. Granted, it was sometimes playing for a bye. Worked out pretty well for the patriots. mcbeane has a plan. I’m sure they’re monitoring the Pittsburgh game. If Cleveland looks like they’re going to win it could change things in buffalo. You don’t want to sit players, lose, have Pittsburgh win and end up playing the ravens in rd1 if you have the chance to knock out a divisional foe from the playoffs, you do it

nah he should be active every week as he’s a great special teams player

Week 16 SNF: Titans at Packers, 8:20 Eastern on NBC
Turbo44 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Game changed when the refs gifted GB the offside call on the blocked FG and GB couldn’t take advantage as they chose to go for it on 4th and 3 and Rodgers took a 15 td sack. From a chance to go up 26-9 to 19-7 and now 29-14 was a big swing. big run by Jones now though -

Week 14 SNF: Bills Whoop Steelers PostGame Thread
Turbo44 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a Dbag. Josh was bad in the first half, but Pittsburgh is the #1 d in the league for a reason and has made a lot of qbs look bad. 3 things about Josh: (1) he has a short memory (2) he has ice water in his veins. In crucial moments he always comes up big (3) he's my G*ddam QB!! -

Love Daboll (went to HS with him) but that had nothing to do with him, everything on Allen. He saw the corner blitzing of his right side and Knox slid out (didn't stay in and block). Josh made the perfect read - throw where the 2ndary blitz is coming from. -
Squeelers v. Bills, Week 14 Game Balls

Believe it or not, Horrible Harry. Very stout at the LOS, Pittsburgh couldn't run at all -
I'm a runner and there's nothing safer in this pandemic than being outdoors. Being in a grocery store is 100X more dangerous than being in an open air environment.

If it was serious it would have swelled up at halftime and he would have had trouble moving after half. The fact they had him running shows the injury was minor.
-
Lock should have just thrown the ball down the field out of bounds near a receiver. Instead he threw it for real and it was caught by a wr who was covered rather closely. Stupid but worked. Fangio is a moron of a coach to begin with. All they need is a fg to win it with 4 mins left, so from the 10 he has fumble machine Gordon in instead of Lindsay.

Two huge penalties killed the Bills
Turbo44 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In a year where they’re not calling any holding plays that wasn’t a penalty. I saw no hold by Winters. Knox, on the first penalty, has just been major disappointment this year -
Flacco did his job perfectly- a win there would have been devastating to their season

Postgame Thread Bills vs. Seahawks
Turbo44 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watched the mia game. Tua is very accurate but he’s tiny and arm strength is below average. He’s very smart in where he goes with the ball. I Think he’s going to have a hard time staying healthy though
