The Dallas Cowboys select K'Lavon Chaisson, Edge, LSU. GM: We almost traded up for a DB, and was torn when he was still there. But the value at Edge was too strong and our other major need. Chaisson is ranked as high as 6th for BPA and we are thrilled to be able to stay out and grab him. With the DB depth, we expect to get our guy later. The Bucs @GunnerBill are on the clock I almost traded up for Henderson

It'll be interesting to me to see if Cam ever gets a call from Rivera. That would say a lot about the behind-the-scenes stuff in Carolina from the past

Also, I look at the gap of talent at position. Would you rather get Tua and probably a solid pass rusher with your early 2nd round pick or Haskins, Young, and another flier QB later on. Again, IF Tua is cleared, option one makes way more sense long term

The Cowboys are very happy they didn't trade up, but also very nervous about the next few picks.

The only thing that concerns me is the division they play in. I’d think they’d want to get quicker in the box or go 3 safeties when playing against Lamar. Bengals don’t worry anyone. Steelers could be good to have those DB’s

With Tua going at 2; the Browns got, who some believe to be, the 2nd best player in this draft. They are all about high profile guys. It was a lot to give up, but fits them perfectly or.....

With the pre-draft trades, FA signings, and depth at certain positions, it certainly has. Before all of that, I really expected it to be the opposite.
