Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation

You forgot the 5 yard piggy back ride he gave the Packers player

Bills' point differential dominating through first 8 weeks
Virgil replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Chiefs always seem to get played tough by their division opponents. They also lost to the Colts. We lost to the Dolphins, whom we've owned in recent years. All of the early season predictions are way off. Point is, both teams will lose games they are projected to win and I'm sure it will be tight race down until the last few weeks. -
The Jets have a solid defensive line and Sauce seems to be legit. However, have you seen Wilson throw the ball?

The Bills won last night because.... (karma reasons only)
Virgil replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wait, we won? I can’t tell from some of these posts -
After Philly, I disagree. The Vikings and 49ers have been made to look pedestrian by certain teams. The 49ers have their divisions number. Dallas has a good defense, but are too erratic on offense. I agree the AFC is not what we thought they’d be. After Buffalo and KC, I’d say the the 3-10 teams in the AFC and NFC are a wash

We ran 8 different defensive coverages against the Chiefs. Are you kidding me with this?
-
I mean, wasn’t it more bizarre that the Packers kept running the ball in the 4th when down by 17? If we did that, you’d be writing that post.

Glazer: Bills called about kamara, turned down

Beane wouldn’t be doing his job if he wasn’t reaching out about any potential team improving player. But sometimes a call is just a call -
Top 10 NFL Slot Receivers according to NexGen Stats

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. There's always going to be exceptions to the rules and times when players line up at different spots on the field, but they are still considered to be an overall X, Y, Z position player. You will always have one off's, like any tiny person the Patriots used at wide receiver, but that's doesn't change the overall concept for the hundreds of other positions. Cupp is a player who thrives in the slot, but he's clearly their #1 receiver, similar to an Edelman. So maybe I retract that he shouldn't be listed as a slot receiver, but I still think that's an unfair comparison. There's receivers like Cupp and Jefferson, now Diggs to a certain degree, that you move around to create mismatches, but at their core, Diggs and Jefferson are outside receivers. If you built an ProBowl team, you aren't putting Diggs and Jefferson in the slot. Ed McCaffrey was the perfect example of a slot receiver. Usually not a burner, can take a hit over the middle, and finds space. Beasley was a slot, even if he didn't finish second in total yardage. I feel like people want to use one-off situations to define the entire position. -

Hmmm, my brain was failing me. I would say he was primarily a slot, but due to lack of depth or whatever reasons, he was the primary a lot. -

A slot receiver should almost primarily by the #3 receiver on a team. If only Davis and Diggs are stacked up top, I'm not going to say one of them is a slot receiver going forward -

Cupp being listed as a slot is just cheating and skews the whole list. I get that he lines up there a lot, but he's not a slot receiver -
I don't understand the dead space there
-
I agree, but I don’t think I’m wrong. You can see the opening on the corner endzones from the outside rendering too. I understand the concept of having walk-in standing room, but not at the expense of more fans in seats
-
I don't like that they sacrificed the corner endzone seats. Why? Is that where the standing room will be? I would rather have the full seats and have a walking concourse behind the scoreboard for the freeloaders. If they were making it 10k less seats for some other reason, okay, but I feel like those gaps stick out like a sore thumb
-
I will never root for the Pats. Think about the next level of despair the Pats fans will reach when even the Jets start smacking them around
-
I hate myself for saying this, but any idea why Josh and Britt aren’t engaged? They just moved into their place, he has the contract, they’ve been together since High School. Just seems strange to me.

Initial impressions and I know the renderings can change: -kind of boring actually. It feels like we’ve seen this before in the rendering leaks -Jumbotron seems basic and has a lot of dead space around it -what’s the point of the 3 tiers between the lower and upper deck? Why break it up? Are those all in front of 3 rows of box seats? -Whats happening in the far endzone corners? Is that for the standing room? Seems like it makes for some poor sight lines for some of the seats -I’m happy they didn’t follow Jacksonvilles lower bowl layout. It’s terrible -I am more worried than before about PSL pricing. We know lower bowl will be tough, but with so many seats in front of box seats, it might be upper deck or bust for the causal fan -that canopy really doesn’t look like it will protect much -very curious to see what that concourses will look like
-
We’d be 6-0 if he were playing. Valuable enough to me

It's all happening!
