Yeah, but wasn’t Malik Willis their #2? BTW that was a nice 3rd down pass and Bobby Trees should have hauled it in

Can someone fill me in on who the Titans have at QB and why?
-
Depends upon what he wants them to cook

I'm trying to figure out if I want to watch this. I guess I'll give it a try. I can always shut it off if it doesn't interest me

There is no "Cole Situation". He is on the practice squad because we only have 4 WR on the active roster, and we think he can help the team more than other practice squad WR like Tanner Gentry or KeSean Johnson or even, for the last couple games, John Brown. He's been called upon for 2 regular season games and has one more "free call up" left. He got a few less snaps last week against the Bears than the previous week against the Dolphins, likely because we were running a lot against the Bears and he's not a good blocking WR. (Isaiah McKenzie got fewer snaps than normal as well, likely for the same reason). In the playoffs, there are unlimited practice squad call ups, so the team will be able to call him up for every game where they think he might help Where we've had problems with jet sweeps, the problems have typically been with blocking at the line and downfield, causing the sweep to be stuffed in the backfield -not with the player running the sweep be it McKenzie, Hines, or Diggs. Beasley doesn't help that.

Yes, and they aren't limited to 3

Our boy Dawson in a red non-contact, which you hate to see. Hopefully it's still "nothing major"

Injury report. Basham, Knox, Milano, and Jordan Phillips all "limited" but at least out there. Morse full which is great DBs catching

Bills untold stories with former S Aaron Williams(Bills PR Video)

I put this up elsewhere, but I think this series of breakdowns from Baldy kind of illustrate part of the reason. https://www.nfl.com/videos/baldinger-s-film-breakdown-of-josh-allen-s-best-plays-ahead-of-mnf-vs-bengals As he puts it, Burrow and Allen are different QB. Burrow is all about timing and rhythm and getting the ball out on time to the right guy. Allen may or may not have a guy he could get the ball out to in rhythm, but he will create off script and off platform. I think for a lot of analysts, Josh Allen has them wondering when the Pixie Dust will wear off and they have more understanding of, thus more faith in, a guy who plays as well within a system as Burrows can.

I think these are mostly from the Fish Squishing, but nice Baldy Breakdown here https://www.nfl.com/videos/baldinger-s-film-breakdown-of-josh-allen-s-best-plays-ahead-of-mnf-vs-bengals

They played Las Vegas at home, then Tennessee and KC on the road. Give them their Propers. They had a good plan for Tennessee and a good plan for KC/Tenn. But that's 2 home games, not 3. As for this "better team than us until proven otherwise", if you're talking about last season, one of the mid-70s Pittsburgh Steelers has a comment for you: "You better take those rings off and put them on a shelf, Boys; they won't help us this year".
-
That could still be true, if Burrow didn't want to interact beyond whatever training interactions they had with Palmer.
-
Allen said that Burrows trained with Jordan Palmer. I believe Palmer has all the guys he trains with working on the same field at times, and also has them meet weekly and watch film together etc. So in terms of time spent together, it seems probable that Allen has spent more time interacting with Burrows than either Mahomes or Rodgers.

Mitch Morse asked his reaction to making the Pro Bowl: "well, at first, I thought they had mis-spelled Matt Milano's name on the piece of paper...I'm still under the impression that they did" 😂😂 This Team!
-
Does anyone else get the impression that Josh doesn't like Joe Burrow very much? Yeah he says all the right polite things ..."yeah, I know him, he trained with Jordan, the dude's all ball, he really loves football" "heckuva talent, heckuva player" "got a lot of respect for him as a person, as a player" "we've had some (pause) interactions over the last couple of years, some conversations (pause) but I have got the utmost respect for him, especially after his rookie year, the injury, coming back and lighting the league on fire, it's been super impressive to watch" I don't know, it's all very best-behaved and polite, but I just have the impression that maybe the two of them just don't like each other much - vs. - some of the things I've heard Josh say about other QB like Mahomes and Jackson and Rodgers. Maybe it just struck me by contrast with Josh being asked next about Logan Wilson, his former Wyo teammate "in my phone as LJ Wilson, Governor" "off the field, one of the best dudes you'll ever meet"

Speaking of that: Thad Brown ought to hang it up if he's got nothing better to do than quote Nick Wrong I broke it down elsewhere that 4 (now 5, after last Saturday) of Allen's fumbles are on center exchange. 6 are strip sacks. 2 on runs. Now at least one of the center exchange was on Allen, and a couple of the strip sacks were on Allen fighting too hard to extending the play instead of taking the easy yards and living to play another down. But a lot of those fumbles need to be cleaned up elsewhere than Allen - not whiffing blocks, cleaner center exchange (harder when injuries force us down to our 3rd string center). And those are fumbles, not fumbles lost. Thad Brown really should know better than to parrot as biased a media show as "First Things First", without at least doing some independent thinking. PS if we want to tut-tut over 2 of 3 losses being 2 INT games, let's be sure to tut-tut over 3 wins being 2 INT games Huh? It's been since 12/17, 12 days. The average time in 2012 to 2015 was 19 days to RTP, so Morse will be back out there in 17, just a bit less than average. What interests me is that the last 2 steps of concussion protocol ostensibly involve practice: "position specific drills" (at the end of which he must clear neurocognitive evaluation and balance checks) and then full practice, including contact. So if Morse has cleared before practice today, that would kind of imply that the facility has been open, and that the Bills have been in the facility, training, the last couple days. Nothing illegal about that - the driving ban in Orchard Park was lifted on Monday I believe - but McDermott gave his patented "I'm not going to go into all that" when pressed for details about what the Bills had cancelled or rearranged due to the weather.

I hope you're right, because we need him Still a concern to me.

Jonathan played 29 snaps Had 1 tackle, for a loss Basham has been averaging 40% of the snaps in 14 games. Has 18 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 5 QB hits, 2 sacks, 2 PD, and a fumble recovery Now maybe you're correct and Jonathan can do as well But he needs to come up with some game-impacting plays to prove it
-
Has Poyer been on the report for weeks with a knee? I looked Not on injury report since Week 12, up until last week when he missed 2 days of practice
-
? Po (knee) and Basham (calf) not practicing on Defense. For the love of the Bills someone take this guy some good Chicken Soup!

Per McDermott presser: Basham (calf), Taiwan Jones (hammy), Jordan Poyer (knee), and Stefon Diggs (illness) won't practice today Mitch Morse cleared from concussion protocol
