  1. Is it petty? I dunno what goes on, on the line or in the bottom of a pile when Josh is sacked or tackled. I do know that a couple years back when Bosa corkscrewed Josh and it looked like it might have been serious, he was going from OLman to OLman babbling about how he wasn’t trying to hurt him, he was just trying to tackle him, etc etc. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t concerned for Josh; he was concerned for having his nuts or his head ripped off by one of the OL in retaliation if they thought he was out of line. And extracurricular stuff on Josh shut down pretty well when it was clear the OL wouldn’t stand for it. It may be something that had to be done. Pretty sure Wilkins will hear about it from his coaches and maybe he’ll turn it down
  2. “If you’re willing to throw on 3rd and 1, you’ll be getting a 1 on 1 with your best player for a big gain” -Cris Collinsworth, just after Huntley threw to Andrews for a big completion on 3rd and 1 Of course, if you don’t get a completion, then you’re just a Big Dummy
  3. O-line managed to block Barkley to #4 in the league this year - not too shabby Jones threw for 301 yds and 2 TD that game - wish that Allen had had his TTT
  4. Would like to have seen Josh have the time to throw they gave Jones
  5. Worried about re-injury to Josh’s elbow after that strip sack Also to Dawkins Guess we won’t know until Wednesday
  6. TBH I think the Giants may be the more dangerous team. Which means it will be interesting to watch the NFC playoffs work through
  7. Yes. He’d played better at guard than Vlad Ducasse but the whole OL stunk in 2018
  8. I think the ref was too busy trying to break it up to worry about the details. Gave one penalty to Wilkins for starting it, and a joint penalty to the Bills OL for finishing it The “defending honor” thing. I see your point, there’s better wording.
  9. I’ve been trying to figure out whose helmet it was, anyone?
  10. I Hear You, and hope for a big step between year 1 and 2. But it’s the reason why his snaps have been limited, which all the people clamoring as though he’s a finished product the coaches inexplicably refuse to start, can’t seem to acknowledge. And I don’t want to take away from or discount Simon’s OP post because it IS important that his reaction to a ball he could and should have had was to come back focused and contribute a beautiful focused catch so 👍
  11. Allen started it but Mitch Morse sure finished it Bank on it, Mrs. Morse.
  12. Thought Jackson was gonna play
  13. There was another one - to the wrong uniform though
  14. *wiggles eyebrows* won’t ask what other thing you were up to
  15. What, you were expecting Beasley to take all of McKenzie’s snaps? I was expecting it. Shakir took more snaps the week McKenzie was out after the Ravens game. I think we’ll find Beasleys’ snaps increased but Shakir took the majority of them. Only if he can figure out how to get open on the shorter routes. He’s still a work in progress.
  16. I don’t think they have a chance. But then, I didn’t think the Dolphins had a chance, and they made entirely too interesting a game of it
  17. Do we wanna play the Bengals or the Jags?
  18. Oh, so it’s only going to cost him $75, not $20k. Cool cool
  19. Probably some of both. There were times where Thompson got a catchable ball to them and they failed to haul it in. Now perhaps Tua would have thrown a more perfectly catchable ball that would have stuck to their hands, IDK, but they didn’t help him. And part of that is knowing a DB is right there and is going to plaster them vs. having 5 yds separation or being wide open
  20. You’re a super lucky bloke to have $20k to piss around
  21. People forget that Jones looked promising his rookie year under Pat Shurmur and Mike Shula Then he looked crappy under Jason Garrett and Freddie Kitchens Coaching does matter
  22. “Brian Daboll thinks it’s a fight” Yes. Yes, he does. When the Zebras called a very ticky-tack “roughing” on Cousins I thought “Oh, Boy, Here We Go, the Zebras are tipping the scale for the Horns” Didn’t work that way though.
  23. I thought we did a very good job covering Waddle and Hill. Hill had 7 receptions on 15 targets for 69 yds. That’s “contained” for Hill Waddle had 3 receptions on 7 targets for 44 yds. That’s “contained” for Waddle. The Dolphins had 42 yds rushing, which is a far cry from what they had last game (188 I think) So I would say the Bills had some success covering these guys, both of whom can turn short receptions into huge gains, and at containing the run.
  24. I put the fumble on Allen. I think he misread the coverage. Agree on the two INT, especially the throw to Beasley. But I forgave him on the TD Yeah, I’m worried about that
  25. Sounds like a “you” problem. Me, I’m through my 2nd Guinness with bitters and happily digesting a lovely Sushi plate. MMMMMmmmm, Sushi ??
