What’s up is they’re still a top 10 defense, but some of y’all have become spoiled from watching an elite defense each of the last 3 years. They’re objectively better than the 2018 and 2020 defenses.

I still expect (or maybe hope) Dorian still gets plenty of snaps unless it’s an obvious passing down. Milano should be worked back in slowly given his age and injury history and now Bernard is playing through his own ailments. I know playing the pass isn’t a strength of his but he isn’t a liability either like he was last year. If letting Dorian playing plenty of snaps means Milano and Bernard are ready to go come January I think it’s worth it.

All I’m gonna say is that if there’s 1 thing I still trust McD and his staff with it’s the back 7 of the defense. If Edwards is bottom of the safety depth chart there’s probably a good reason for it.

I don’t even think the refs were very biased against either team but good lord 22 penalties for 204 yards, with many of them being awful calls, is insane. And that doesn’t even account for all the declined/offsetting penalties I lost track of. Absolutely zero reason for the refs to have that much influence in a game. This was the first time in my 30+ years of watching that that I turned the TV off in the middle of a game the Bills weren’t getting blown out in. The refs were making it unwatchable and I don’t regret it all as the penalties kept stacking up in the 4th quarter after I tuned out.

He was impressive tonight but it takes more than 1 good game for me to look past how woefully inefficient he was in weeks 1-5. Let’s hope he just had some rookie jitters and this game gave him the confidence to be that aggressive change of pace back to compliment a healthy a Jimbo.

Of all the kickers who have been with the same team since the start of last season, only Matt Gay has a worse FG%. Every kicker who’s been as bad or worse than Bass during that time period has either been released or were allowed to walk during free agency. Maybe not but there’s no reason to not bring in competition and find out. Bass is actively hurting the team. If you’re an NFL kicker and can’t chip and XP out of reach that’s an issue
