  1. I'm liking this idea, I think. Where do they pick? Kinda like the Jets did to get Thomas Jones.
  2. Any idea what it would take to get Chris Perry from the Bengals? All these free agent o-lineman are worthless without a back.
  3. I think they do that so some team can't "steal" them away. I bet they would go for a trade. The guy, in my opinion, has more talent than McGahee. I liked him alot in college.
  4. The Chargers want a 1st and 3rd, but wouldn't they be smart to take a 2nd and 3rd for a guy that will be a UFA next year. The Chargers would be happy, I think, and the Bills could still get their MLB or CB.
  5. Buffalo Bills.com When asked if they would consider pursuing any restricted free agents scheduled to be on the market this spring he gave the following answer."Without my giving names there are one or two names in the restricted free agent market that we like."
  6. I think a swap of 1st round picks + our 4th would be fair.
  7. Michael Turner is the perfect back for this o-line.
  8. All of my Squealer friends didn't even flinch when Porter was let go. They could have cared less.
  9. Restricted FA.
  10. I thought the same thing when it was mentioned.
  11. Anyone know when the Sporting News comes out with their draft guide? It's usually the cheapest. I've bought Mel Kipers (too long) and Ourlads before but the Sporting News does the job. I remember one year Coach Dickerson came out with one, though I don't like him, I enjoyed the publication - he actually nailed the Antowain Smith pick, I think.
  12. Making cap room for the anticipated sign/trade of McGahee?
  13. I'd take Travis. I loved his hard hitting style and the guy grew up a Bills fan.
  14. YES!!! There offensive lined kicked are ass on that one play where the guard pulled to the right and they gained 7 or 8 yards on every play. I think they felt bad because they stopped running it even though the Bills never stopped it.
  15. I think Bill Bellicheck's ego will keep him from listening to any of Weis' suggestions.
  16. How does the all knowing Mort know Buffalo didn't try to re-sign these guys 2 years ago? Two years ago they would have been cheap, and players like McGahee and Clements (and their agents) are smart enough to realize that they possibly (barring injury) could break the bank if they just play out their contract and go with the high bidder. Oh, and to who ever posted that Donahoe couldn't pick a coach if his life depended on it; didn't he hire Bill Cowher; or did the Rooney's? P.S. - Mort is a homo.
  17. What you guys are forgetting is that the debate shouldn't be between Whitner and Ngata, it should be between Whitner and Bunkley. Ngata wasn't seen as a fit for the Cover 2 defense. Bunkley was seen as the ideal DT for it. The debate was (until Ngata showed to be the best rookie DT) between choosing Whitner or Bunkley. Bunkley recorded 6 tackles this year. Whitner was the better option and a great pick.
  18. First, draft Patrick Willis LB in the first round. Draft Brian Leonard RB in the 2nd round. FREE AGENTS: Kelley Washington - WR - Cincinatti Kris Dielman - RG - San Diego Ian Scott - DT - Chicago Aaron Smith - DE - Pittsburgh Any thoughts?
  19. Isn't Eric Weddle (Utah) a safety?
  20. This is the last I'll say on this. But before you say he's not dynamic look at these: Leonard 3 Leonard 4
  21. I don't really consider him a FB. I'm not comparing Leonard's ability to Bush's, but I think we could get similar production. I'm saying his role would be the same.
  22. I really hope we don't have to fill a need. The Bills should fill the OL gaps (RG) and DT through free agency. The Bills haven't had a 3rd down type of a back who was an actual threat since Thurman Thomas. A perfect 3rd and 5 back; I think the 3rd down conversion rate would go way up. He could be the Bills version of Reggie Bush.
