  1. I see some posts he did well. But what did he do well? I saw his one hit on Farve, but NFL.com didn't record it as a sack. His number look bad on nfl.com. What did he do? I'd love for him to fill one of the OLB spots. Defense T-A SCK INT FF P. Posluszny 11-4 1.0 0 0 A. Ayodele 6-4 0.0 0 0 L. McKelvin 6-1 0.0 1 0 D. Whitner 5-2 0.0 1 0 Sp. Johnson 4-2 0.0 0 0 J. Byrd 3-0 0.0 0 0 C. Kelsay 3-0 0.0 0 0 D. Florence 2-0 0.0 2 0 B. Scott 1-0 0.0 0 0 K. Williams 1-3 0.0 0 0 G. Wilson 1-0 0.0 0 0 J. McCargo 0-1 0.0 0 0 A. Moats 0-1 0.0 0 0
  2. This guy reminds me of Bruce Smith. The Bills needs Defense first, in my opinion. I want a chance at the playoffs next year, and Luck wouldn't do that. Why was Robert Quinn suspended? Robert Quinn highlights
  3. Couldn't we do a 3 way trade between Miami(gives us Thigpen), Green Bay (gives Green Bay a pick or player to Miami), Buffalo (trades Lynch to GB).
  4. How about this? And I want credit for it when the media starts calling it this: DOUBLE BUFFALO WING
  5. They run a double wing offense. I think that is the name. He gets the bulk of the carries.
  6. Had our first scrimmage and it was awesome. He ran one time on offense (I think they are saving him for the game) and went about 10 yards. On defense he played MLB, and made some mistakes. He is not used to tackling guys in the open field -I'm not sure what to tell him, other than don't overpursue (control his speed) and don't dive (he has a tendency to dive). He did have one monster hit on a kid on the sideline that sent the kid flying. My son is a big hitter, but like I said, he hasn't been real good at tackling kids where he has to run to them (last year he played DT). In practice they won't let him tackle kids other than lineman, because he hurts kids his size or smaller every time he tackles them, so he doesn't get much practice at going after RBs. I think he is getting frustrated he misses guys in the open field, so is my advice to him on controlling his speed and not diving good advice? By the way, I didn't see the guards pulling in this scrimmage, but the center was out to block him on every play, and this kid was pretty intimidating. Shouldn't the DT be occupying the center? Thanks for all the info.
  7. Definitely helps. Thanks.
  8. Thanks. I am extremely proud of him. He LOVES it. He told me "I like baseball, but I was born to play football." It's really cool to watch.
  9. First thing I have a question about is what is the proper technique for running the ball. He will get the bulk of the carries (he's fast), but no one is really teaching him technique. He knows to take the handoff with the proper technique, but when should he switch from 2 hands on the ball to 1? Should that happen after he gets past the line, past the lb's? Last night at a scrimmage he fumbled twice at the lb level. Also, what is the best mouthguard to get? I got him a Shock Doctor (it looks like a binky) and the thing is tearing apart after 8 practices. Lastly, he has a pair of Cutters gloves, but doesn't wear them, because no one else on his team wears gloves. Just about every NFL and NCAA player wears them, so I would think youth players would benefit from them as well. Do most youth players wear them? If yes, what are the benefits to wearing them, and if not, why don't they wear them. Thanks.
  10. I called and cancelled on Tuesday. They never offered me a better deal. I talked to 3 different people, and all they said was "Are you sure you want to cancel" and I thought they would offer me a deal. They didn't and I've had the Sunday Ticket for 12 years.
  11. Is the NFL Rewind channel on Dish Network?
  12. I hear you as well. LOST is not just a TV show, it is an EVENT every week. We love it and discuss it amongst the 2 of us after each show. Most other shows we just watch and forget about it. In the fall, there is another show that has some promise: Terra Nova, produced by Steven Spielberg. Terra Nova
  13. I've seen this on other message boards. They wouldn't do something like trade the most dynamic player they have drafted in years would they? Supposedly Steve Johnson said the same thing in a twitter last night, and said someone (a friend) told him the Bills drafted Spiller to trade with Pittsburgh for Roethlisberger. This has to be false, right?
  14. Why do you have Wade Phillips as your avatar?
  15. You guys are making me feel better about not drafting Tebow. Thanks for all of your input. I wish I had some idea of what the Bills were going to do. When does Mayock come out with his Mock Draft?
  16. He has leadership, yes. But, I also haven't heard 1 NFL guy say he wouldn't succeed. Gruden, Mayock, NFL Scouts, Kiper, all fealt he would succeed. The only guys I have heard say he would fail are guys like us and one guy on the Jaguars. I think it makes more sense to get your QB at 9 rather than trading 2 picks that we need, to trade up for one. And if we wait until our round 2 pick to get our QB, he (Colt or Tebow) will be gone. There is NOT 1 guy in this draft that is a can't miss. Mike Williams was supposed to be a top flight LT and look how that panned out. Look at all the flops we've had in the first round - McGahee (traded), Losman, Whitner, McCargo, Maybin (still early though), Flowers, Williams,......... Tebow, in my opinion, which is the opinion of a lot of NFL guys, will make sure he succeeds. If he succeeds, the Bills succeed.
  17. It makes more sense than taking someone else at 9 and then trading 2 picks to move back in the first for Tebow or Colt. He is exactly what this team needs. Leadership, and someone to grow with Gailey. For crying out loud, Sanchez wasn't a great QB and the Jets went to the AFC championship. I was for taking OT in the first, but they and everyone else is a gamble. Why not take someone that can change the entire atmosphere of the locker room? I really think Tebow will be the pick. Believe me, I never thought I would say it, but we need him on this team. I agree with a lot in this article
  18. Is Jerry Hughes a better player / prospect than Brandon Graham? They sound like the same type of player, and very similar size.
  19. I'd like a game changer at #9 and for me that would be Spiller or Clausen. On defense, a game changer would be a sack specialist - is that Hughes?
  20. I have seen on a few boards now that they think Jerry Hughes will go at #9. Apparently Nix and Modrak like him a lot? I have no idea. All of my draft mags say he is a round 2 guy. Any chance this will be the guy? Is he worth the #9 pick? I remember when Freeney was taken about 10 spots earlier than he was projected and he turned out to be a steal. Jerry Hughes profile
  21. Any chance Ralph wants Tebow at 9? I doubt he really has final say. My guess is that they must get his approval on the pick. If I remember correctly, Ralph wanted Doug Flutie instead of Bruce Smith, but that didn't happen. Would love to get a big OT (Bulaga, Williams) or DT (Dan Williams) at 9 and then trade up in the first for Tebow. Then take Javid Best or Toby Gearhardt in the 3rd. The OT depth and DT depth is pretty strong, so we should be able to find some help in the draft.
  22. In past regimes, it seemed we always got inside info. It has been so difficult for some reason this year - maybe that is a good thing for the team, but frustrating for us. Does anyone have any good scoops like which OT they like, which qb besides Bradford is on their radar, where will Lynch go, and if Lynch goes, what rb's do they like?
  23. OK. What will it take to jump in front of Cleveland. There is no way that they don't like him. Holmgren will pick him and say something like "the kid started to grow on me, kind of like some Farve kid did before", as he chuckles and desperate Bills fans will be sitting at home wondering if Tebow can be any good 5 years from now.
