The Andy Reid ones are especially hard to watch lol no way mcd would do that.
-
I mean Josh had a 9/30 game this year and he’s likely a first ballot hof-er lol
-
We had quite a few situations like that where Stafford either threw an absolutely perfectly placed ball or a receiver made a ridiculous play. Don’t see much of that happening tonight
-
Yea he took a big step back this year in a contract year. Think he probably would’ve lost some snaps this week even if healthy

Seems like we always have a couple great defenders out in areas of not a lot of depth every playoffs. Ironic to be saying it after the rams game haha but it’s feelin like to me that this year we’re not gonna have that excuse so we’ll see what happens. If we get rung up I’ll come around to the negative side more Even Milano im not sure we absolutely needed, in fact I think the last few games he’s significantly hurt the team and probably would’ve been benched if it were the playoffs. -

I can see the negative side for sure but I gotta be honest watching all those linebacker injuries down the stretch last year I didn’t think there was a chance in hell we’d hold the chiefs under 30 points and have a chance to win the game. Really don’t think we’re losing that game if we had anyone but aj klein available. Crazy how much the optics shift if that’s the case. We’d be 5-1 against kc in the last 6 with the 1 loss being 13 seconds -
I know we all get hung up on mcd playoff stuff but injuries have done him no favors. Feels like the elite defenders on kc never miss a snap and the bills are always missing 3-4 very important players come playoff time. Really couldn’t hurt being cautious with injured players the rest of the regular season

I have never sat down at a bills game in any weather at any time haha

Week 15, Bills v. Lions, PREDICT THE SCORE!
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just don’t trust Goff…he seems to have issues against defenses that are good at disguising coverages presnap which is one of our few strengths lol its a team game but the guy throwing the ball could lose it/win it single handedly -

Idk that we’d definitely lose if we got that far haha that was mostly to say I think Philly or Detroit are a little tougher matchup wise than the current AFC field. I still really don’t trust Goff though but he can make me eat those words this week 😂 -
Idk there were competing stats in this particular one…idk what teams records are when they give up a blocked punt td but they’ve gotta be pretty bad. And a blocked punt td probably should go down as a turnover which would make what I’m assuming 254-0 is referring to not apply. Really was no different than a pick/fumble 6 game flow wise. 13 seconds was definitely really bad but it isn’t unprecedented. we hit a humongous play to walk off fg the lions with very little time remaining last time we met. There were 23 seconds left instead of 13 but the play getting us into ‘used to be good Tyler bass range’ 🤣 only took about 7. Just one specific example but there’s a bunch. The Minneapolis miracle for example was much worse than 13 seconds I wonder if saints fans talk about that one as much as we talk about 13 seconds haha

I doubt the Texans beat the 5 seed but you never know. Yea I think you can make the case for wanting to avoid Baltimore and pit because the bills seem so focused roster construction wise on matching up with the chiefs that those two aren’t good matchups. It doesn’t seem like there’s any way we can avoid Baltimore and pit though anyway so I feel like best scenario is send Baltimore to kc for the divisional and give us the Steelers at home. there’s a chance pit and Baltimore flip flop in the division standings then we get Baltimore round 2 instead of pit. Is that better for us? I’m not entirely sure but it scares me more lol if we fall to the 3 it’s probably the same choice but we’re on the road instead of at home Yea it would be pretty tough to apply any asterisks to this Super Bowl if they won it lol. Last year I think a few teams caught them roster wise but they were freakishly healthy come playoff time injury wise which evened things out. This year I’m not sure that’s gonna be the case
-
I think that’s pretty debatable either way…I wouldn’t have him there but you could make the case for it too. I think I and maybe the mvp voters too see it as he is good but has benefited greatly from being on a few stacked offenses but we could all be proven wrong the rest of the way for sure lol. this won’t factor into the mvp discussion at all of course but I don’t think there’s any way McVay gives him and a bunch of future assets up for Stafford if he truly saw goff as a top 10 qb talent wise and idk if there’s a guy I trust more to evaluate offensive talent McVay probably saw him as just outside top 10 and just didn’t have the elite traits to finish a playoff run
-
Oh yea the Steelers are good but there really aren’t gonna be any easy games at that point. They’re a better option than someone lesser like the chargers upsetting pit then kc gets an easier game and we get stuck with Baltimore round 2 of course that’s under the assumption that pit holds onto the division though haha they may not

This playoff path is starting to make me feel like that bengals team that went to the Super Bowl. Looks like there’s a good shot kc will knock out the team we match up with the worst for us then I think we match up pretty well with kc. If we had to go Baltimore then kc I would not like our chances but we may not have to
-
If he loses out to Goff I’ll be so mad haha but what you’ve outlined definitely makes sense. Barkley would not make me as mad 😂 if mvp was actually what it was supposed to be I don’t see how Goff could even be in consideration.. I think you could plug any pretty good veteran in his spot and they’d do the same thing

Yea I can’t disagree with the second paragraph. I wouldn’t try to argue we’re the best roster. still think we match up well with kc though and im more worried about some other teams ironically enough 🤣. If things stay where they’re at seeding wise the afc run is about as favorable as it could be. Baltimore goes to kc and probably gets knocked out then we get pit then kc. Wouldn’t be too shocked if we got to the Super Bowl and lost as it stands now which is why a win over the lions would be so huge optics wise Lucks a huge factor…could screw you over when you have the best team and bail you out when you don’t. a hypothetical team way better than the rest of the playoff field that’s got an 80/20 win probability in each game still is just a coin flip to go on a Super Bowl run which is crazy to think about -
I was just saying this in some other thread but I feel like the difference between the 1 and 2 seed superbowl probability wise is probably smaller than ever with Baltimore somehow being a wildcard team right now if our coaching staff thinks it’s that important to have a warmed up Matt Milano for the playoffs it makes more sense than ever to do so. Dare I say I think you could make the case the 2 is the nicer spot for Buffalo if you knew for sure Baltimore is the worst seed making it out of the wildcard round. Of course that’s no guarantee though
-
I bet he’s wishing he took more risks in the first half running but I’m pretty happy he didn’t injury avoidance wise. Playoff josh probably wins that game even if LA plays just as well on offense

Baltimore being a wc team right now is so flippin weird haha I don’t entirely know if I’d want to be the 1 seed as crazy as that is. if I was kc or buffalo id want Baltimore going for a visit to my arch rival in the divisional so 2 seed seems like the sweet spot. I don’t think 3 is super bad either but 4 is awful -
Josh Allen, most total TD's in first 8 seasons.

Seems like the only active head coaches that have beaten playoff mahomes are mediocre at best but have coached absolutely stacked teams so we should be right on schedule in the coaching department if you don’t like mcd 🤣. Guys that actually know what they’re doing like Shanahan or Harbaugh never win lol in all seriousness though, every bills chiefs game is played under playoff conditions and most of them could go either way…it’s straight up chance/small sample size that the regular season vs playoff split is what it is imo. -

sitting and learning behind Alex smith on a pretty well sorted team was such an easier road than getting thrown to the wolves your rookie season. I get a good chuckle every time ‘but mahomes sat his rookie year!’ is used as something he had to overcome lol -
I think it’ll take a ton for Goff to get it…he seems to be a victim of the ‘horrible primetime game’ rule based on the current odds lol

It’s the knee jerk reaction from the rams game mostly…which didn’t even look like we treated it like a playoff game anyway tbh. Josh had opportunities to run in the first half and prioritized his health and trusted the defense to get some stops (probably shouldn’t have done that second thing 😂) Milano would’ve gotten pulled for Williams in a playoff game too I’d think but we seem to be prioritizing trying to get Milano up to speed for the playoffs. Kincaid and Coleman likely would’ve both played through injury if that was a playoff game too I don’t even think we lose to Stafford/nacua’s best shot if we played that game under playoff conditions
