  1. Why can’t a running back be in consideration for mvp of a team? Lol the guy just about hit 2k yards and averaged around 6 ypc. Absolutely ridiculous season. People are Lamar haters for bringing that fact up? Come on he ironed out all the deficiencies previous ravens teams have had perfectly and deserves a ton of credit.
  2. Yea that’s playoff football every year…no non procedural flags of any kind really and guys getting away with murder
  3. I don’t think it’s hate really…as far as I know nobody thinks he isn’t great. You can make a pretty solid case Henry is the mvp of the team though the guy is pretty much unstoppable
  4. Pickens is absolutely godawful lol fields definitely couldn’t be worse though
  5. All while Derrick Henry is absolutely going off lol
  6. Ravens Steelers more specifically is always a funny thing haha
  7. The chargers sure look like a pass too to be fair haha. Not sure what the Texans winning changed
  8. I just don’t think they have the offense…chiefs will probably win an ugly one
  9. I still think the Steelers have a chance…probably won’t happen but they always play the ravens tough and they’ll have Pickens this time
  10. Texans win Steelers win I believe would do it
  11. A guy with 3 mvps but no Super Bowl appearances would be unprecedented im pretty sure
  12. I think we’ll play 3 LB some assuming everyone’s healthy…we tried it briefly in the first matchup but morrow was the third LB due to injury and he got picked on
  13. Is that what you want me to have said so you could make that comment? Lol. Lamar is great but Derrick Henry objectively adds a whole dimension to their offense that Buffalo doesn’t have and it opens a ton in the passing game. I’m not sure that fact is even debatable. y’all complain in every single gameday thread about how no one can separate and josh has to do something magical every snap. That is not the situation the ravens are in at all. Josh is highly rated and still somehow underrated imo…he makes everyone around him look good
  14. Elite is a bit of a stretch imo. Teams were lighting them up down the stretch in games that were must win for Denver. Likely would’ve missed the playoffs giving up 30+ in 4 out of their final 5 if kc had anything to play for
  15. But somehow that ‘fact’ doesn’t help Josh’s mvp chances haha
  16. They’re better than most but Lamar’s job is pretty easy lol. Teams are absolutely loading the box to stop Henry and still can’t and Lamar is just throwing to wide open guys most of the game. If you swap Josh and Lamar’s teams Josh would be absolutely going off and Lamar would look pretty good imo
  17. Is that at every sportsbook? It’s so annoying trying to track because player award bets are illegal in ny.
  18. I think that’s exactly what’s gonna happen…the whole bills team getting all pro snubbed really strengthens Josh’s mvp case if anything. All pro seems like it should be more stats based
  19. Most of the sports media people are talkin up Josh which is why the odds are what they are. He’s gonna win it…the beating both 1 seeds with lesser players argument is just way too strong. If Lamar had the season he had without Derrick Henry then it’d be a tossup probably but Henry absolutely went off. You can’t really have two mvps on one team…each guy hurts the stock of the other. The bills do not have that problem at all lol it won’t be unanimous by any means but josh is getting it. Nobody comes back from how far behind Lamar is in the odds right now
  20. His defenses are so bad that the opponent won’t even punt anyway…am I doing this right? 🤣
  21. The dude gets snubbed pretty much every year…he’s skipped twice when they’ve tried to name him an alternate which I honestly kind of like. The one year he got actually selected the pro bowl got all messed up by Covid. Absolutely criminal he’s only been voted in once and the game was canceled can’t even just blame fans fan voting is a small percentage of the selection process I think the nfl world finally realized they haven’t been giving Josh enough credit this year which is why things are leaning pretty strongly his way despite Lamar looking slightly better on paper. Daboll/Diggs etc were getting more credit for Josh’s success than they rightfully deserved and there’s really no alternate explanations to try to diminish him anymore
  22. This is just getting so sensationalized to me. like yea if you start dropping playoff games to the broncos of the league it gets obvious what you have to do. But the teams that we’ve been losing to have first ballot hof qbs also that are gonna put points on the board against anyone. Chiefs had a few games each playoff run against top tier offenses where they had to score 30 or 40+ to win. The defensive mastermind that ‘stopped’ banged up mahomes in the playoffs that one time just got fired and their head coach is on the hot seat for missing the playoffs so I think it’s pretty safe to say no one in the league really has the recipe for the playoff chiefs. Heck it’s not even like belichick did it, they had to score 36 to win that one and they got lucky with an ot coin toss. I just don’t know who you’re bringing in for head coach that’s gonna flip the script. Let’s say you hire Ben Johnson tomorrow, even if you have a pretty low opinion of mcd defensively who is Johnson bringing in at DC to right the ship? I don’t think you’re getting someone better than mcd even if you don’t like mcd. The big name DCs will get head coaching gigs and he’ll probably be stuck with a retread head coach level guy for DC which is what the anti mcd crowd sees mcd as anyway 🤣. I think it’s a big risk to probably end up right back in the same place at best. the ‘if it doesn’t happen this year it won’t happen’ argument just doesn’t suit the nfl playoffs imo. It’s so ridiculously high variance where the team that wins it is probably catching a few breaks along the way. To me, there isn’t this huge distinction between regular season bills chiefs games with massive playoff seeding implications and the playoff games. Both teams are throwing everything they have into both those kinds of games. Pretty much any of them could’ve gone either way and the playoff sample size is just way too small to single out.
  23. I could be crazy and this hopefully won’t be a jinx but this broncos defense has to be one of the more overrated groups I can remember in recent memory...to me they’re good but they get talked about in the elite conversation and I don’t really see it. If the chiefs had anything to play for the broncos probably would’ve missed the playoffs giving up 30+ in 4 of their last 5 games with the only under 30 game being against horrendous Anthony Richardson. They’re definitely solid but they’ve got a couple weak links in the secondary that will get exposed hard by a pretty good oline/mobile qb that can actually hit throws. It really doesn’t even feel like strength vs strength bills offense vs broncos defense to me. they pretty much live or die by pass rush and have a bad matchup in that regard. Only path to a broncos win I can see is Bo Nix playing flawless and winning a shootout
  24. Chiefs seem like they always have a few issues that they straighten out by the playoffs…they’re out there trying to set records/three peat etc but everything went sideways for them a bit based on oline play this year.
