I mean idk how I’m the one in denial when your statement about the defense is 100% provably false lol the chiefs were in a much better injury position entering the game than Buffalo and it is not even debatable missing a starting corner(benford…I’m not counting white) and a few linebackers and a safety that could function as an extra linebacker is a ton of holes to exploit. It’s honestly kind of wild we kept the game close with aj klein seeing significant time. Chiefs straight up victimized him. The mostly healthy offense bailed them out with a big top discrepancy…chiefs probably would’ve scored 50+ otherwise

Aj klein canceling a family vacation to start at lb is not quite healthy lol. Not to mention you left out benford and no rapp when down a bunch of linebackers is huge. Dodson played quite injured also no gabe also which I normally wouldn’t even mention but he has made big plays against the chiefs in the past We were down to Klein and the chiefs picked on him all night. I’m all for the no excuses mentality…we had our chances to win…but I don’t think there’s any chance we lose that game with one of Milano/bernard healthy.

This is def all true but I’d argue we’re better on paper than them nowadays so this doesn’t really disprove op either I do think if we had one starting caliber lb we win pretty easily in the playoffs this year although I do understand the no excuses mentality…the offense was very impressive vs kc, kc just pulled off some quick scores picking on Klein all the way down the field

I very much doubt anyone is waiting for the bills hc job specifically to open up to get a promotion lol. I mean it might work out that way for him but I’m sure he’s not counting on it he’s probably gambling that at least one guy on a pretty long list of good teams will fire their coach

I honestly thought von looked pretty good in that game ironically enough lol hard to fault beane for Milano, that’s a comfortable win if you replace Klein for Milano even if you allow the chiefs to bring back an injured player to match. tre/douglas is a positive point for beane id say…he went out and found a guy every bit as good as tre that gave us a chance down the stretch

I can get behind that…it sucks that this is now the 3rd playoff loss to them which you’d think would signal domination but the last two games have been extremely close and could’ve gone either way. The chiefs haven’t turned in a dominant performance against the bills in years

That chiefs game was a gem by Brady imo. Our players just couldn’t hit on one big play with a multitude of opportunities. Felt like he had spags number in that game to me and the chiefs dodged a ton of bullets People hate McDermott so much that they literally want our head coach to hire someone that will start a power struggle? Haha that’s legitimately insane

Oh yea I get where you’re coming from…I think it’s part coincidence though that we happened to lose two very close ones in the playoffs but I guess we shall see lol. The last two playoff matchups and the regular season game this year easily could’ve gone either way.

I feel like dlines disappearing in the playoffs needs to be taken with a grain of salt with how this entire playoffs was officiated. Every oline was holding like crazy and getting away with it

I really don’t get this regular season being extremely different argument in a game that’s absolutely massive for playoff seeding. Those type of games are def treated like playoff games.

I really don’t think there’s a monumental gap between a huge regular season matchup and the playoffs honestly. I think the playoff sample size when the rosters were actually comparable is too small to make inferences based on (2020 the chiefs were a tier above the bills imo) games between these two teams are a tossup now

Chiefs are just so clutch…it takes more than just a qb playing well you need defensive players to step up and role players coming up with huge plays. I really wasn’t impressed with Andy Reid this playoff run honestly lol I think he got carried a bit. Don’t think he really added a ton of value. Doesn’t mean that’s true for the past though. They ran into two defenses absolutely ravaged by injuries and the ravens locked them up from midway through the second quarter on but the ravens offense bungled the game

Throw harbaugh in this sounds like ravens fans are done with him too lol
