  1. So weird that a fanbase that watched a full season of red zone struggles would even complain about drafting a good tight end let alone the best one
  2. It makes me confused that people are upset we didn’t get a big target wr but we essentially did get a big target wr and they’re complaining about the pick 😂
  3. I’m all for people feeling skeptical but he objectively isn’t even remotely close to the same type of player as Knox lol kincaid excels at finding space underneath which is an area where Dawson Knox struggles and he has ridiculous hands. Knox is more of a combo tight end that can stretch the field some. They complement eachother pretty much perfectly if you’re gonna run two TE sets…I think Kincaid will play a lot of slot wr though
  4. Kincaid is a lot more versatile than simply labeling him a ‘TE’…he’s a much more gifted pass catcher/route runner than Knox. He could line up in the slot every play and never play ‘true’ tight end and he still provides a lot more value than anyone in that late run on wrs would have.
  5. I feel like beane’s drafting success rate is comparable to the gms of the other contenders. There aren’t a lot of sure things when your first pick is late in the first. I think we got one today though
  6. Big target with a slot receiver skill set could help a lot in the receiving game if the offensive line struggles also imo.
  7. There’s no shot the cowboys weren’t taking Kincaid if he was available.
  8. Someone’s gotta tell Pete you can have two tight ends on the field at the same time lol they went offensive bpa
  9. Cincy had to absolutely bottom out to pull that off…so did the jets. Miami had to mortgage their future on tyreek who’s gonna hit the declining years pretty soon.
  10. It was the offensive line…packers oline was absolutely awful early in the season and then they did a huge reshuffle and locked it down a bit. The jets don’t have world beaters at wr either
  11. Favre went to a jets team with one of the best offensive lines in football though…multiple pro bowlers and a should be hall of famer. the current jets are very much not that on the OL. If they hold up there they could be great but there’s a pretty decent chance we see early last season Aaron rodgers/packers offense
  12. Also they pretty much sold out to compete for the next 2 or so years. They could’ve used those picks to build a sustainably good roster
  13. Same issues for the jets as the Russell Wilson broncos too…although the jets offensive line isn’t broncos bad lol
  14. They got a lot for a guy that was clearly not gonna play for the packers regardless…rodgers injury aside they’re getting two seconds and a better first.
  15. Terrible long term move though imo…still don’t think they’re going to get through the tough afc to the Super Bowl. Givin up a lot to be back to square one in a few years when they have no qb and have to extend a bunch of their young guys who have been playing well
  16. Didn’t impact games in the regular season? I’m not sure what you mean. The front 7 took a nosedive with von out…I’m not sure how anyone can disagree with that point. We went from top 5 in the league in pressure rate to bottom 1/4th. jets outgained us, NE outgained us, Miami put up 400+ yards. Just because we won still doesn’t mean it wasn’t an issue. It was just masked by an easy schedule to close out the year.
  17. Right lol that adds to my point but I thought that went without saying 🤣.
  18. Team is built around disguising looks with our safeties and the 4 man rush and we lost von, Micah hyde and poyer was playing hurt. We would’ve gotten lit up on defense down the stretch by great teams in the regular season too there just weren’t any on the schedule
  19. Our oline absolutely steamrolled them the first drive of the regular season matchup…not sure what happened the second time. They’re gonna score their points much like the chiefs are but that was such a huge failure on the offensive side too
  20. Do people assume they’re slowing just because of their age? Lol poyer had a great season even while battling through a ton of injuries. Micah hyde hasn’t really shown any slippage either
  21. We had two really flukey games against them that I think is clouding people’s perception a bit. The yardage totals we put up were insane. just about doubled up the dolphins offensive production in two of the three games
  22. They didn’t give up less than 420 yards against us in any of the three matchups and it should’ve been much more if it weren’t for a few flukey plays. Not at all fully disagreeing with you but I think the term ‘significant improvement’ may be a stretch unless Xavien Howard return to form. He was awful last season(couldve been injury related) and teams will just pick on him. This idea that they have two lockdown corners is a stretch ramsey doesn’t have to cover long in LA which inflates his value a bit…they have been the best defensive line in football for a lot of his time there. Miami is no slouch either but they are definitely a tier below peak LA he obviously helps but I’m not expecting a complete defensive transformation they might honestly take a step backwards early in the season until they get more experience in the new system
  23. Lol feels like it’s Opposite Day around here. 9/10 nfl fans are taking Hopkins over gabe Davis. Not to say anyone is right or wrong for preferring gabe Davis but you certainly can’t be a troll for liking Hopkins more
  24. Sounding like it could be an attempt at Bobby Wagner
  25. Nfl GMs are frequently incorrect so we should take a wait and see approach on this one lol both players are likely the same amount of overrated with regards to their actual skill level though
