Good call - I might see if my dad will bring his turkey fryer along. The only pain in the ass is allowing the oil to cool before going to the game. I'll confirm later on in the week if we bring it - if we do and others want to bring some wings along, you could definitely throw them in the fryer while its still hot. We did it for the Bengals/Bills game and ended up cooking ~20-30lbs of wings.

I'll have to do most of my partying on Saturday night (6 hour drive after the game on Sunday), but I'm definitely ready for some football that matters!

Although all of the experts are saying that UC will finish last in the conference, I think that it's foolish to disregard them. Don't get me wrong, they played Eastern Michigan last week, but they put up nearly 500 yards of offense. Give them time to click (this is one of the youngest teams in D1), and this could be a solid team. I'm a Buckeye fan by birth, but as a UC student, I'm forced to put some faith in Mark Dantonio.

I just cancelled my reservation for Sunday night. Still staying Saturday, but we decided to head back straight after the game. If someone needs a place to stay, there should be 1 opening.

Saw on the news last night that there is a tropical depression (named, but I forget) moving into the Carribean right now, with another a few hundred miles behind. The weather guy said that Sept. 15 is the peak of hurricane season.

Its pretty unreasonable to expect a business to turn away money at this point. Tourism will be affected, they might as well bring in as much income as they can. Then again, perhaps they should just open their doors for free and lay off all of their employees.

Forgive me - I guess I forget the fact that most of you are older and are married with kids. Yes, the drive is pretty rough - its about 2 1/2 hours from Buffalo to Cleveland, then another 4 or so from Cleveland to Cincy. Not exactly scenic, especially at night.
