  1. MNF stat said that Parcells was 77-0 when his team had a 2 touchdown lead in the 4th quarter... 77-1, Tuna! (one hell of a stat, by the way - then again, any team with a decent offense should be able to secure a lead in the 4th with a mediocre running game)
  2. I tried to make a reservation for this week's game at the TBD Holiday Inn (where we all stayed for the opener), but was unable to secure the group rate. I currently have a reservation there for $109. I found several vacancies at the Comfort Inn, right down the road, for ~$90, however, all the review sites make it seem like that hotel is a total piece of crap. Now, I don't need a 5 star hotel - basically just need a place to lay my head on Saturday night, but my girlfriend will definitely freak out if its a nasty place (bugs, moldy bathroom, etc.). Can anyone give me any input? $30 is a lot of money, especially with $2.50-3.00/gallon gasoline and an almost 900 mile round trip.
  3. w t f?
  4. When the Bills score(d), did they (or will they) play the Shout song? random, I know.
  5. Great post! I agree and look forward to Willis and the O-line dictating how this game goes.
  6. Same for me, but I'll watch the game in Detroit (preferably IN the stadium) and then proceed to riot and loot afterwards. w00t!
  7. Shoot me an email and I'll do what I can.
  8. Hah - I assume you mean by being in the stadium early. Unlike most people, we don't have the ability to get wrecked before the game, as a 7 hour drive home usually follows 1-2 hours after the game is over. Don't worry, I spent most of the drive/ride home hungover and sun burned. Besides, this was my first regular season game as a season ticket holder, so I wanted to be there for the whole deal (didn't want to be held up by pat downs, beer lines, etc.)
  9. Great pics, Rock. You got a picture of my dad and I from across the stadium - look at picture #31 (photo of the Rockpile sign). He's wearing the Spikes away jersey, I'm to his left in the Losman throwback (back row). Didn't expect to see that... Thanks
  10. Traffic on Southwestern (going back to I90) sucked, but that has a lot to do with the fact that the road is 50% under construction.
  11. I agree - I skipped out on the 2-a-days in August. Don't worry, I'll be back in top drinking/yelling/retard mode in time for the next game vs. the Falcons.
  12. What about the !@#$s trying to start the wave in the 2nd quarter while the Bills had the ball. I was still mildly intoxicated, so I let them know that they were all retards.
  13. I had no problem with going in...no complaints about a quick pat down. I was just kind of freaked out on the way out, especially since I was (still am) sun burned and half hungover.
  14. Did anyone else get stuck trying to EXIT the stadium? Walked over to one of the gates and the crowd was large, it was single file leaving. There were several large chain link gates, but all had a chain and a large lock. When people started climbing the 10"+ fence and I looked over and saw thousands of people walking our direction, I really couldn't believe that there wasn't stadium staff somewhere around to unlock the gates to let us out. We turned around, went to another gate, and literally waited 10-15 minutes to leave. Very strange. Thank God there wasn't an emergency in which we all would've needed to exit quickly.
  15. Actually, now that I think about it, I might've seen your mask early on Sunday. I'll be wearing a sombrero to welcome in Ron Mexico.
  16. Oh really? I stood for the majority of the game and didn't leave my seat until the Bills celebrated mid-field.
  17. I requested a girl, but no one obliged ...story of my friggin life
  18. I think that the prices are pretty much standard on all of the "officially licensed" stuff. I went to the Dicks Sporting Goods on Saturday night to buy my new Losman throwback, as the Bills proshop closed at 4pm and I didn't get there til almost 5.
  19. I agree that it was very loud from very early on. I also agree that it did seem to slack off a bit in the 3rd. I was personally kind of in a stupor, as my beer was wearing off and the heat/sun was starting to get to me...
  20. what, no listing for "creepy little barn"?
  21. Sure - about 30% of the jerseys in the stadium yesterday were throwback replicas - saw a lot of Losman, Spikes, Evans, and Moulds
  22. I agree - I'm in 203 (Rockpile) and am feeling the pain today. Fortunately, I had enough brains to put a t-shirt over my head by the end of halftime...considering I forgot sun screen, a hat, and/or my sunglasses. I'm sure it'd be much worse otherwise.
  23. RWS got loud every time they showed the score of that game. I can only imagine how crazy it would'be gotten if Miami would've got blown out also. Oh well, I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of those in the future...
  24. I also picked the Rams... wtf
