  1. Actually, she was seated next to her mother, Cindy McCain, at the convention last night. Now STFU
  2. $250,000 bonus to the first person to crush it with their helmet/foot/etc
  3. They can't even sell out a primetime college football game at the Rose Bowl - I'm watching the Tenn - UCLA game and there's a large section in one of the upper "corners" that is completely empty. F that guy and F LA
  4. 12 team league, I picked 11 1 - Marshawn Lynch - RB 2 - Peyton Manning - QB 3 - Greg Jennings - WR 4 - Earnest Graham - RB 5 - Jerricho Cotchery - WR 6 - Heath Miller - TE 7 - Ronnie Brown - RB 8 - Reggie Brown - WR 9 - David Garrard - QB 10 - DeAngelo Williams - RB 11 - Jabar Gaffney - WR 12 - Robert Royal - TE 13 - Nake Kaeding - K 14 - Shaun McDonald - WR 15 - Buffalo - DEF Now, I don't claim to be an expert, and definitely didn't print out any of the draft guides or spend much time researching this stuff. Overall, how'd I do?
  5. They suck again...what say you, Jesus H Christ?
  6. I'm also going to that game...and I've NEVER seen the Bills win on the road (unless you count Cincinnati, but thats a home game for me)
  7. Probably not the dumbest, but last night I was with some friends in a part of Cincinnati that overlooks downtown and the river for the annual Labor Day fireworks put on by the local rock station. As we're out on the balcony of this apartment, which is less than 100 yards from the Ohio River, some girl that was with us asked "Are we in Ohio or Kentucky?" Unbelievable...
  8. And nothing to gain except a super sweet FEMA debit card!
  9. 1st - 1986 Oldsmobile Calais 2nd - 1988 Merkur Scorpio (which I still own - at one point, owned 4 of these things) Currently driving an '06 F150
  10. Furthermore (and not to turn this into anything political), but tomorrow night is Obama's acceptance speech. I know that has come up here in Cincy, as the UC Bearcats have their first home game tomorrow night as well and people are trying to estimate attendance.
  11. From the ESPN.com article on this subject, the thing that pisses me off is the following: "Even China's own Yang Yun, a double bronze medalist in Sydney, said during an interview aired on state broadcaster China Central Television that she was 14 during the 2000 Games." So they're known cheaters, but the passports are issued by the government, so they should be accepted. I wonder how many other doctored passports they've got floating around...
  12. It sounds ok (I prefer the military, traditional performances), but I absolutely hate the banshees in the background of the second link hooping and hollering. STFU...its our national anthem, !@#$s.
  13. I agree...i hate those...although, I have seen a guy around town with about 2 feet of chain and two large nuts (think socket set) welded to the end. While still stupid, I thought it was a funny response to the commercialized "testicles"
  14. She's hot (and legal), so I'm giving her a pass
  15. Mine came to me pretty quickly, so it may change, but since I'm in a league with a bunch of Bengals fans, most of whom are pissed off that Lynch got off after the Bengals apparently get "picked on" by the league, my team name is: Lynch the Driver
  16. Mike - I grew up in Marietta, OH - right across the river from Parkersburg. Now, what they've done in WEST VIRGINIA certainly is an accomplishment. However, it would sicken me to see Parkersburg listed as "Titletown, USA" when they're up againt some of the cities that they are. New York, LA, etc, aside, trying to say that Parkersburg's high school dominance is like saying that the winner of the 100m special olympics race is as good as the world record holder in that OTHER 100m race. Anyone that knows high school sports, and knows PHS/PSHS, know that they get dominated when they leave their state...bring them to Cincinnati/Cleveland on any given Friday night and I'm willing to bet that our city champions would beat them 9 times out of 10. Cincinnati St. Xavier, Moeller, Colerain, Elder, Cleveland St Edwards, St Ignatius, etc. etc. WVa sports are a joke. Plain and simple.
  17. Very appropriate name for this thread...but I like the optimism!
  18. We had a great time back in May at the Pirates game, then closing down McFaddens between the 2 stadiums - out by right field, if I remember correctly. There was a McFaddens in Cincinnati, which the owners closed and turned into a Blackfinn, but that McFaddens was WAY better...lots of hot girls dancing on the bars and relatively cheap drinks. I was amazed by the number of attractive women in Pittsburgh. I would disagree with Primanti Brothers. I went there, just to say that I did, and it was absolutely disgusting. Stale french fries, on top of a cheesesteak that was more like a salisbury steak...the only good part of the meal was the cole slaw, and it would've been mediocre anywhere else.
  19. Dubai is looking more and more like Sim City by the day
  20. Because he's excelling in the spotlight of MLB...not just tonight, the guy is having an incredible season. Regardless, as a Reds fan, and from talking TO Reds fans, its typically harder to find a stud pitcher than it is to find a guy who can drive in runs...
