    the conservative play to take the FG on the first score. Playing for the FG to end the first half, and "take what they give you", then punting, is a big part of the reason, we are in a position where a turnover seems tragic.

    This is 100% correct. The fan baseline for Josh Allen is set higher than for every player in the league, including Mahomes and Burrows. The narrative for Mahomes and Burrows about their crappy performance this week where dialed in on excuses for them.
