  1. McDermott was passed over many times for HC positions, and I would bet that his soft coaching mentality came through in his interviews. I hate to beat the guy up as he seems like a man of character, and he has done well for us besides the playoff failures, but we have to stop pretending that he's the guy for this team if we ever want to truly have a shot to win it all
  2. The only thing I'll give you is the injuries Take away all the other stuff, and this squad still lays eggs in the biggest games
  3. Andy Reid didn't get a title until he left the Eagles. And both Reid and the Eagles ended up winning titles
  4. I'm fine with it. These guys need to hear others around the league bury them. Maybe it will light a fuse for next season. Tell Allen he's regressed and not a top QB. Tell Diggs he's a diva. Tell Tre he won't be the same ever again. Tell them their window is closed. It should only help them to get better and tougher
  5. That didn't take long The trauma of the past makes people scared to swing for the fences...meaning they would rather never win squat as long as they never ended up back in that scary space again it's how McDermott coaches, too. This type of fan and the current coaching staff are a perfect for one another
  6. If we had more players like Diggs, we would've showed some fight yesterday I'll take dawgs everyday over the Roger Saffolds that make excuses but make no waves
  7. I get what your saying, and there is a degree of merit to it. On the other hand, what is the reason for the game plan to be awful? The players seemed unprepared, and there also seemed to be no creativity when it came to scheming up their opponent. I saw one team coached to attack and be aggressive, while the other looked to be timid and on the defensive from the start. You must also not dismiss this team's playoff failures under this regime. It must be factored in when having a discussion like this. It's unfortunate because it's almost as if this team and coaching staff will get a pass due to this extraordinarily tough year, when there is enough data to conclude that changes need to be made. My stance is that despite the tragedy and craziness that a team does not ordinarily deal with, the coaching staff has proven over numerous playoff runs that they are not good enough, and may be regressing. Don't let emotions override what we have concluded over multiple seasons and playoff appearances.
  8. Sounds like a team that was ok with putting out a half ass effort and going home because they had a rough season. This is not the mindset of a champion. It's what losers/quitters do Reflects on the coaching
  9. I won't watch this team next season if the coaching staff isn't gutted What's the point? Then we, the fans have a choice You accept that this team is what it is and support them, or you decide its not and you let them know it. I know where I stand
  10. If this was really the mindset of this team, then that is an indictment on the coaching staff. You should value and appreciate every opportunity that you are lucky enough to get, and make the most of each and every chance you get in the NFL. I personally think we are a soft team that has zero creativity on either side of the ball, and it has led to a team that can't dominate up front on either side of the ball. Any player or coach that wanted this season to be over with should no longer be on this team...simple as that
  11. OP is right I've been saying it for years, but this blowout in our own building is a major indictment...just like the inexcusable failure the year before. How many more of these will we accept before we acknowledge that this staff is not championship caliber? If you wanna accept good, but no chance at being champions, then McD and this staff are what you deserve. For those of us who want to see Josh and the city of Buffalo hoist the Lombardi, we need to aim higher and not settle for these failures anymore.
  12. And most Bills fans will be content letting that happen because they are too traumatized from the bad Bills days to take the chance vs staying status quo with no chance to ever hoist the Lombardi.
  13. I generally agree with this sentiment I also think that when and where the turnovers take place, as well as what the result of the turnover is makes a huge difference. It's lazy analysis to say turnovers will lose you the game without dissecting if it costs you points, or if it's early in the game when you are ahead, etc
  14. Should be like the NBA where a buzzer goes off and lights come on
  15. They have to get Cook some screens or short passes in space...he's got the ability to take those for big gains. This Is unforgivable with the way teams are playing us
  16. Would like nothing more than for Josh and the Bills to send him out with two gigantic L's
  17. I am being completely realistic when I say that I believe that Cincy was going to beat the brakes off of us in the game Hamlin went down in, and I don't think much will be different if we play them in the divisional round in Orchard Park. Epenesa will keep running by the QB...rendering our pass rush useless, while Burrow will find open receivers and hit tight windows. It will take an incredible offensive performance to beat Cincy or KC. Possible, but we haven't seen this offense operate that effectively in quite some time
  18. The hard truth is that this is a must win if we are to truly have a shot at playing in the big one. The implications of a loss will put us through a gauntlet while either KC or CIN gets a week off, and a home game against us if we manage to beat either KC or CIN on the road in the divisional round.
  19. Talk about being a sissy That dude is an example of what is wrong with today's generation If things are tough...or if it hurts your feelings...the solution is to cancel it altogether. The Dan LeTard show is exactly where I would expect to find such trash takes
  20. Tell us you were mad at his choices last year without telling us You and everyone else that spewed hatred that man's way should feel shame now and should welcome him back
  21. I'm sorry, but "grabbing dick" has no place in Alpha terminology ZERO

  23. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/12/12/report-ryan-bates-avoided-serious-ankle-injury-in-bills-win/ Bates has a low ankle sprain. Not expected to be out for long...if at all.
  24. I think the offense is missing that WR with game breaking speed that can make dynamic plays The OL could be better, but I think they are middle of the pack KC is basically the same thing...one top guy and their QB I also believe that better play calling could help us
  25. Don't forget Xavier Rhodes who appears to be a good pickup for us
