  1. Can we get thru the regular season first.
  2. Not true. It will reach a point when it is safe for them to tour the stadium. The Islanders did the same thing when UBS was being built. Fans will have to wear a hard hat when touring the stadium, but it can be done.
  3. I think they will especially if they can get the game in OP.
  4. Also add wide right, MCM, 1980 playoff game when Fouts threw a 50-yard TD with about 2 minutes left to give the Chargers a 20-14 win. Even the Bills playoff win over the Jets in 1981 ended up being nervous time. The Bills had a 31-13 lead with about 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Of course, the Jets cut it to 31-27 and then Bill Simpson has to save the day with an interception at the goal line in the final 10 seconds to preserve the win. To many nervous moments with this team over the years.
  5. I know the Giants and Jets did them in person. Fans are going to want to see the stadium in person especially if they are going to be spending a lot of money on seats. Virtual tours are nice, but it can't replace seeing it live.
  6. When the times comes the Bills will probably do tours with season ticket holders with the most seniority going first. They will get first choice on where they want their new location to be in the stadium. Trying to move thousands of season ticket holders from the current stadium to the new one will take time. That is what the Giants and Jets did when it came time to go from Giants Stadium to MetLife.
  7. When you factor in market size, cost of tickets, as well as PSL fees the capacity of around 60,000 is a good number.
  8. Depends on which Pats team shows up. If it's the one that went into Cleveland, then the Pats win will. If it's the one from Monday night, then probably not. While he is no Breece, Michael Carter is a pretty good back.
  9. Sauce is the real deal. Earlier this year he did well going up against Chase and Burrow. Allen and Diggs will make plays, but Sauce will probably play them tough. Unfortunately, the Jets got themselves a really good corner.
  10. If I remember correctly all the teams that made the playoffs in the EC last year had over 100 points. I do think the Sabres are getting better. At worst they should be in the mix for a playoff spot but it's not easy to make it. They will need to take a big step up this year to do it.
  11. Have no idea. Maybe the reporter just asked about Boone. Have to think both are coming back. The real question here is will they resign Judge? He is getting a monster deal from someone. George would pay it but will Hal?
  12. If you have been a fan as long as I have (the mid 1970's) then you would know why many Bills like myself have that "Charlie Brown trying to kick the football from Lucy" moment with this team. I think this will be the year. It is looking good but until they actually win one there will always be some doubt for many Bills fans.
  13. The correct answer to a question like this is... "Whatever benefits the Bills". In this case a NE win helps Buffalo. With that said. F*** the Pats and the Jets.
  14. Hard to predict the Pats. They looked great at Cleveland and then lousy vs the Bears. The Jets D is legit but without Breece and Vera-Tucker the offense will struggle more than usual.
  15. I hope he does well this week. Not rooting for the Pats but I would like to see the Jets go 5-3.
  16. I doubt Cashman gets fired. Coming off a 99 win season and making it to the ALCS. Now if George were still the owner, then maybe but I doubt Hal will fire him
  17. Mac Jones starts vs the Jets. (14) Field Yates on Twitter: "Breaking news for Week 8: Patriots QB Mac Jones took about 90% of the first teams reps in practice today and will start for the team on Sunday against the Jets, per source. https://t.co/Gc2js6YabK" / Twitter
  18. Maybe he meant the NFC's best team. Philly is good but I think Buffalo and KC are better.
  19. (14) Jay Skurski on Twitter: "Josh Allen’s got jokes. Asked about next week’s trade deadline, and how the #Bills may approach it, he says “I went up to (Brandon) Beane today and asked, ‘am I safe?’”" / Twitter
  20. Both teams have the option to opt out of their lease after the 2025 season. I know the Jets tried to get a stadium built in Manhattan a few years back. Anyway here is the deal... The two teams formed the New Meadowlands Stadium Company, LLC (now MetLife Stadium Company), a 50/50 joint venture, to build and operate the stadium. The two teams leased the parcel of land on which the stadium stands from the NJSEA for a 25-year term, with options to extend it which could eventually reach 97 years. After the 15th year of the lease, and every five years, hence; one of the two teams may opt out of the lease after giving the state 12 months notice. The first such opportunity to opt out will occur in 2025 with a notice date of 2024. There will then be an opportunity to opt out in 2030, 2035, 2040, etc.
  21. IMHO the white helmet is better. The charging Buffalo stands out more on the white helmet.
  22. In keeping with the Neil Young theme...
  23. Some teams post their entire uniform schedule before the season even starts. I know the Bills do it a few days before the game for the public, but I think they have to submit their home uniform schedule to the league before the season starts. Otherwise, how could some teams release their entire uniform schedule for the season if they don't already know what their opponents will be wearing that day.
  24. You never want to see anyone get hurt. Hope he can make a full recovery.
  25. Same here. It's been a while since they wore the blue over white throwbacks. That is another uniform combo that looks great.
