Had the Broncos +6 in my company's pool so its a good start for me this week.

At the end of the day this is just a bunch meaningless babbling. Bottom line is a new stadium is being built either in OP or Buffalo.

In my office pool the spread is 17. I took the Texans. Hate giving that many points. I'm guessing the Cards will be comfortably ahead and eventually pull their starters. That could lead to the Texans getting a late TD for one of those back door covers.

Same here. I don't watch it either. But I guess they need some kind of draw to get the non-football fan to tune in and watch their one game a year.

Earn the #1 seed. The Bills in Buffalo will be tough for any visiting team especially with 72,000 screaming their lungs out.

It's important. The players could use that extra week off to get healthy. Even if they aren't on the injury report you just know that everyone is banged up somewhat. One less extra game to play. You play two games at home in front of 72,000 crazy fans. It will be a lot easier to reach the Super Bowl if they get the #1 seed.

I think it's society in general not just athletes. You look at all those old movies or tv shows like I love Lucy and everyone was smoking. As it became obvious that smoking was no good people started to become more health conscious. Nowadays you can't smoke in bars, restaurants, buildings, and other public places. You also see less people smoking in today's world. Like you said a different era.

This. I don't think the Jets- Pats game is really all that important. The division is the Bills to lose and they won't. Go Chiefs and Bengals for sure. I expect the Bills will put a major beat down on the fish at home. Having to deal with this loss for two weeks the Bills should come out fired up in week 8.

As an Isles fan he is my favorite Islander player. Have his jersey with his autograph on it. One of the all-time greatest goal scorers in NHL history. Wishing #22 a full recovery.

Forgot about that one. No Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasance or Michael Myers. You can't have Halloween without Michael. He is the horror. Jamie and/or Donald has to be in it as well. Halloween 3 was one stupid ****ing movie.

Why does there even need to be a halftime show? Just go back to studio and let the talking heads make their points and then move on to the 2nd half. The majority of the acts suck anyway. They all try to do 3 or 4 quick songs in 10 minutes with a bunch of dancers running around the stage. I say enough with this boring halftime BS and treat halftime like they do every other game.

Then where does Tua go? Steelers, Packers if Rodgers leaves, Seahawks if Wilson leaves, Saints as Winston isn't a long term answer. A lot of possibilities if this trade happens.

If they get the #1 seed they would be off WC weekend and it would be 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5. Also that #7 seed could be the Chiefs if the Chargers win the division. But getting the bye is huge. Extra week to get healthy and a potential 2 games in OP

I am surprised the Steelers aren't in on this. They need a QB worse than the Fins. I don't know what they could offer trade wise but my guess is this is Ben's last year.

I think they are doing one more called "Halloween Ends". Given the title of the movie its safe to say Michael dies here. Also Jamie Lee Curtis is around 60 years old now so how many more of these can she make or wants to make.

It was frustrating to lose but going 1-1 on B2B primetime road games isn't bad especially against two good teams.

I would have kicked the FG and taken my chances in OT. But since they went for it I would have had Allen roll out with the option to pass or run. TEN knew what was coming and I just don't trust the OL to get a good push for Allen to make a play.
