What the Ravens loss (and many other bad losses) should teach us
Greg S replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Speaking of the Ravens I am surprised they haven't signed Jackson to a long term deal yet like the Bills did with Allen. I think the announcers said Lamar is making 3 million this year. That's a lot for the average joe but that is nothing for a professional athlete and starting QB of his caliber. -
MetLife stadium and questions about gameday
Greg S replied to Mynamemike's topic in The Stadium Wall
Once you are parked in the MetLife parking lot their is really nothing to checkout. There are no stores or shops nearby that you can walk to. Its not like Buffalo where the stadium is in a residential area. Its just a giant parking lot surrounding the stadium. If you want to check out the area that is more of a Saturday thing to do. -
MetLife stadium and questions about gameday
Greg S replied to Mynamemike's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are allowed in the stadium parking lot 5 hours before kickoff so 8:00 for 1:00 game. You won't have trouble finding parking up until 9:00 - 9:30. You show up later than that and the lots start filling up at that point. You will still find a parking spot but its a pain in the ass driving around and avoid hitting people. As a previous poster said Steve's sizzling steak on rt 17 is a great place to go that is near the stadium. On rt 17 there are a lot of places to eat. Some fast food places or restaurants like Outback steakhouse. You won't have trouble finding a place to eat if you are on Rt 17. As for gameday I would suggest tailgating as that is the easiest thing to do. Like up in Buffalo the tailgating is pretty good at MetLife. Enjoy the game and GO BILLS!!! Make sure you have a parking pass otherwise you won't get into the MetLife parking lot. You will have to park in the non parking pass section on paterson plank rd and take a shuttle bus to the stadium -
OBJ with the distractions of the LA lifestyle. He is not a team player so I wouldn't trust him to focus on football when there are a million other things he can do out there.

Is the #1 seed that big of a deal anymore?
Greg S replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they have to play the Ravens and/or Titans I would rather it be in OP. -
Good point. Hopefully the Browns can do us a favor this Sunday.
-
That works as well. Still want a blowout win just so we don't have to go thru "nervous time" again in the 4th quarter.

Having WC weekend off is huge as you play one less playoff game. Also it gives players an extra week off to heal from any injuries. Plus the Bills at home in the playoffs is a much better chance at winning then them being on the road. -
It's supposed to be nice. Sunny and in the low 50's. I will be there (Sec 101) hoping to see a Bills blowout win.

Hoping for a repeat of this.

Hate having to root for Miami but its in the Bills best interest. Go Fins (tonight only).

Super Bowl LVI midseason predictions: Rams vs. Bills ?
Greg S replied to Sugar High JA17's topic in The Stadium Wall
My midseason Super Bowl pick is Jets vs Giants. -
Week 10: Bills at Jets — Predict the Score
Greg S replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jets are more associated with the Isles then Devils. They used to practice at Hofstra down the road from Nassau Coliseum. For a long time they played in Queens at Shea Stadium. Even to this day many fans still want to bring them back to NY even though that will never happen. The Giants are associated with the Rangers as long tenured NY teams. -
Week 10: Bills at Jets — Predict the Score

Last year at MetLife the Bills won 18-10 on six FG's so its possible. I don't care how they win just win and get to 6-3. I realize they have issues to work on but that is for the coaches and players. I just want a win to enjoy for next week going into the Colts game. -

If Singletary has the kind of day you predict then that will open up the passing game that much more. No way the Bills lose if he rushes for 125 and a TD. Unless the Bills are sloppy with turnovers or a give up a big special teams play like they did in the Steelers game. The "legendary" LOL Mike White will not outduel Allen. -
Allen definitely covers up a lot of the OL weaknesses. Could you imagine Kelly with his lack of mobility playing behind this line. He would get killed. I wish we could do something to fix it now but unfortunately that will have to wait until the offseason.

I hope its not another close one otherwise I will be like..... -
Those 90's Bills teams had a solid OL led by Hull and Singletary and Moss should never be included in the same sentence as HOF Thomas. I remember Kelly even saying Thurman was the heart and soul of their offense.

Blue Pants: the real reason we lost
Greg S replied to 2020 Our Year For Sure's topic in The Stadium Wall
Speaking of the uniforms is there a reason they can't wear red over white or white over red. I think that look would be nice and certainly way better than the POS looking all blues and all reds. -

Blue Pants: the real reason we lost
Greg S replied to 2020 Our Year For Sure's topic in The Stadium Wall
All whites vs the Jets. So can't blame the blue pants this Sunday. -
Bruce Smith is the obvious choice. But can I get the entire OL from the Super Bowl era led by Kent Hull. That is what we really need.
-
They absolutely will. Every team is going to look at what the Fins and Jags did to stop the Bills. Hopefully the Bills have answers. Getting healthy players back especially on the OL is a start.
