I hate to say it … but the Pats are coming
Greg S replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
NO already lost to the Giants and Falcons at home. Their QB situation isn't the greatest right now. I am not saying the Saints game is gimme but the Bills should be favored to win that one. -

Both games against them are going to be very tough. I just like that the Bills will have extra time to get ready for them. The two games against them are going to decide the division most likely. You are probably right in that they will split. I just hope Buffalo wins the MNF game at home against them. It will put pressure on the Pats to win the rematch in NE. I don't want the Bills to have to go in there needing a win to get the split. -

Looking at the Bills schedule they will have plenty of time to prepare for NE. The Colts this week, then a game on Thanksgiving vs the Saints. Then they will have 11 days to prepare for their MNF game against the Pats. -
Johnson will never sell his cash cow. Bought the Jets for 635 million in 2000. They are valued at 4.05 billion today. Jets fans are stuck with the Johnson's. The chances they turn it around are slim under his ownership.

With upsets happening lately in the NFL maybe the Falcons can knock off the Pats this Thursday night.

11/14/21 Postgame Thread: Bills at Jets

45, 45, 31, 54. The points the opponents scored against the Jets in the last 4 games. Defensive genius indeed. -
That's a good question. Honestly it will be both good and bad for the Bills no matter the outcome. The perfect outcome would be a tie but what are the odds that happens.

The one thing I couldn't understand yesterday was why were the Jets playing single coverage against Diggs. Their secondary blows and you have single coverage on Diggs. LOL Jets. The 57 yard pass that got the Bills down to the Jets 20 that they eventually scored and made it 17-3. WTF was Saleh thinking. He is supposed to a defensive minded coach. -
Tough game. This looks like a 24-20, 27-24 type of game. I expect it will be close all the way to the end.

What a great game to be at. The Allen TD pass to Diggs was in my end zone which was nice. That killed whatever momentum the Jets thought they had when they made it 10-3. But the 3rd quarter was a thing of beauty. Three TD's and 17-3 becomes 38-3 and a lot of garbage time in the 2nd half. Good showing by Bills fans as there was a lot of blue inside MetLife. Jets fans pretty much headed for the exits at 24-3 and definitely at 31-3. The 4th quarter it was mostly Bills fans in the stadium. -
Buffalo Bills rooting interests, Week 10
Greg S replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
To add to your point they go more with a conservative offense. They run the ball a lot and go with a short passing game. Jones has played well but he is more of a game manager right now as opposed to someone like Allen who is supposed to carry the offense. -
Tua fractured finger and hurt. Won't play... Again...
Greg S replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Either the Fins eventually trade for Watson or draft their next "potential" franchise QB. The Jets moved on from Darnold and I can see the Fins do the same with Tua. -

I can live with that as long as the Bills destroy the Jets. -

MetLife stadium and questions about gameday
Greg S replied to Mynamemike's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's calmed down at MetLife because PSL fees priced a lot of the real fans out of going. You get more of a corporate crowd at MetLife. When it was Giants Stadium their were a lot of fights between Jets and Bills fans every single year. The two fanbases definitely don't like each other. -
MetLife stadium and questions about gameday
Greg S replied to Mynamemike's topic in The Stadium Wall
You can tailgate after the game as well. When the game is over we go back and just tailgate again for about an hour or so. By around 5:30 there is no traffic leaving the stadium and the parking lot with tailgaters is maybe only 25% full. Bottom line if you don't want to sit in traffic and you don't mind tailgating after the game then leaving the stadium is a breeze. No hassles at all. -
What the Ravens loss (and many other bad losses) should teach us
Greg S replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Speaking of the Ravens I am surprised they haven't signed Jackson to a long term deal yet like the Bills did with Allen. I think the announcers said Lamar is making 3 million this year. That's a lot for the average joe but that is nothing for a professional athlete and starting QB of his caliber. -
MetLife stadium and questions about gameday
Greg S replied to Mynamemike's topic in The Stadium Wall
Once you are parked in the MetLife parking lot their is really nothing to checkout. There are no stores or shops nearby that you can walk to. Its not like Buffalo where the stadium is in a residential area. Its just a giant parking lot surrounding the stadium. If you want to check out the area that is more of a Saturday thing to do. -
MetLife stadium and questions about gameday
Greg S replied to Mynamemike's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are allowed in the stadium parking lot 5 hours before kickoff so 8:00 for 1:00 game. You won't have trouble finding parking up until 9:00 - 9:30. You show up later than that and the lots start filling up at that point. You will still find a parking spot but its a pain in the ass driving around and avoid hitting people. As a previous poster said Steve's sizzling steak on rt 17 is a great place to go that is near the stadium. On rt 17 there are a lot of places to eat. Some fast food places or restaurants like Outback steakhouse. You won't have trouble finding a place to eat if you are on Rt 17. As for gameday I would suggest tailgating as that is the easiest thing to do. Like up in Buffalo the tailgating is pretty good at MetLife. Enjoy the game and GO BILLS!!! Make sure you have a parking pass otherwise you won't get into the MetLife parking lot. You will have to park in the non parking pass section on paterson plank rd and take a shuttle bus to the stadium -
OBJ with the distractions of the LA lifestyle. He is not a team player so I wouldn't trust him to focus on football when there are a million other things he can do out there.

Is the #1 seed that big of a deal anymore?
Greg S replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they have to play the Ravens and/or Titans I would rather it be in OP. -
Good point. Hopefully the Browns can do us a favor this Sunday.
-
That works as well. Still want a blowout win just so we don't have to go thru "nervous time" again in the 4th quarter.

Having WC weekend off is huge as you play one less playoff game. Also it gives players an extra week off to heal from any injuries. Plus the Bills at home in the playoffs is a much better chance at winning then them being on the road.
