  1. From a few years ago I remember Terry saying both report to him. He said McDermott has final say on coaching the team but Beane has final say with putting the team together with the draft/FA. Obviously they have discussions and voice their opinions but I remember Terry saying this is how the organizational structure of the team will be.
  2. This is worse because they have a QB and WR's. Fournette with 125 yards rushing and a TD. Brady 350 yards passing with 3 TD's on a Tre-less secondary. Allen and the O need to do the heavy lifting in this one for any chance of a win. I think TB will score in 30's for sure.
  3. This offseason I want to see the Bills get bigger, tougher, more physical on both sides of the ball. It's frustrating watching the Bills get dominated at the LOS. Until Beane can do this I don't see a Lombardi coming to Buffalo. We have the QB and we are OK at the skill positions although they will need to get younger at WR soon and get an RB. OL and DL are the biggest priority without a doubt.
  4. Moss would have scored if he went outside. The dumbass cuts right back inside and gets stuffed.
  5. At this point if they get in it will probably be as a WC. So they will be on the road throughout the playoffs unless upsets happen which gives them a home game. That's assuming the Bills can win their games if they are in the playoffs.
  6. Definitely need to get tougher, more physical at the LOS on both sides of the ball. This will be a very important offseason for Beane with the draft and FA.
  7. Neither he or Beane are getting fired. Three playoff appearances in 4 years. 7-5 this year in the playoff mix. I get the frustration but even if they miss they will get another shot at it next season. If things don't go well in 2022 then maybe changes could come.
  8. The Bills are built to throw the ball. They are weak at the LOS on both sides of the ball. Last night take away Allen's 6 rushes for 39 yards and the Bills RB's totaled 60 yards on 19 carries. Being one dimensional on offense isn't good no matter where you play. But in Buffalo it is a must to be able to run the ball especially late in the year. The Pats threw the ball 3 times and still managed 222 yards rushing. This is on Beane. He is the GM, he built this roster, he needs to fix it.
  9. Hopefully Terry and Kim agree with you.
  10. Looking at the rest of the schedule I see 10-7 unless they can win at TB or at NE. They "should" win the 3 home games unless the pull another Jacksonville. at TB - loss CAR - win at NE - loss ATL - win NYJ - win Will 10-7 be good enough for a WC. Who knows.
  11. Let's hope this is Belichick after the game.
  12. Hopefully the weather calms down by game time.
  13. Who remembers this great Pats - Bills moment. https://youtu.be/6XJNNLuwNMw
  14. What reign? He is 62-74 without #12
  15. We have an average at best OL a weak one at worst. We are one dimensional on offense because of it. Overall both Beane and McDermott have done a good changing the culture of the Bills. If the Bills fail to get to or win the Super Bowl it will be OL that most likely holds us back. We need to be better here going forward. This has to be a priority this offseason.
  16. We all are. Its a good kind of nervous for me as I am excited for this game.
  17. Last year they won a close one over NE at home and had a blowout win at NE so anything can happen. Definitely would like the Bills to get this one. It would put a lot of pressure on them to win the rematch. If the Colts can beat them at home then that would really put them in a tough spot when the Bills play at NE.
  18. Just guessing here but 11 wins probably guarantees the playoffs and maybe the division. The Bills have three tough games and three games they should win NE(2) at TB - tough CAR,ATL, NYJ - should win If the Bills don't "Jacksonville" one of the games they should win and they at least split with NE then they should be in good shape.
  19. This is what we all wanted. Big regular season game with the division at stake. Would we rather be the Jets playing out the string. I was at MetLife yesterday. I estimate the crowd at 45,000 - 50,000 tops in an 80,000 seat stadium. Half the fans were Eagles fans. A situation like that is depressing. Only good thing yesterday was the weather. It was around 50 and sunny so the tailgating was good.
  20. This is the one area where Beane has failed. He needs to build an OL similar to that of the Colts. I am all for having Allen throw the ball all over the place to Diggs, Knox etc etc but a cold weather football team needs to be a able to run the ball when they have to especially in bad weather. No matter how the season plays out I hope Beane improves the OL this offseason.
  21. I'm not so sure he would have made it even if he caught it. It looked like their were 2 Steelers closing in fast. Good chance he would have gotten stopped before reaching the goal line.
  22. They would be ahead of the Ravens with a win tonight? I thought Baltimore had a better conference record.
  23. Pressure is on both teams but more so the Bills because they are home. McDermott likes to use the phrase "DEFEND OUR DIRT". Well tonight is the perfect time to do that. If the Pats lose they can always say the rematch is in our house. If the Bills lose then they have to go to NE and get a win for the split which will be harder to do.
