  1. Flores should write a book. ”How to lose friends and alienate people.” I wouldn’t hire this dude ever, even without the lawsuit.
  2. I see a lot of “building to win now and win in the future.” I’m sitting here thinking, WTF are you people talking about? so it’s time for the great poll. The Steelers were perennial playoff teams for the last decade. Sure one or two lost seasons where the QB got hurt but overall a successful decade of football. Zero Super Bowl wins. The Eagles had a much worse decade overall. A couple playoff berths but mostly not great. A couple different HC’s, QB’s, etc. but they won the big one. PS: if you pick the Steelers, you’re an insane person.
  3. Nothing guarantees you win the whole thing. I guess we should just do nothing huh. You’re right though. If the Rams didn’t win the Super Bowl, we wouldn’t be talking about how they won the Super Bowl. but they did and we are. Because that’s the reality.
  4. lol all those resources didn’t win the Rams the Super Bowl? You’re spinning like a top bro. no team blows out every team en route to a Super Bowl. The thing about the playoffs is mostly good teams make it. There’s a ton of luck involved, of course, but talent matters. Most teams get to the Super Bowl and win it by the skin of their teeth. Let’s win one Super Bowl before we plan for the decade long dynasty. You’re putting the cart infinitely behind the horse. I don’t want to be the Steelers from 2011 to 2020, good enough to be in the playoffs but never good enough to win. No ***** thank you.
  5. But we didn’t. What NFL team, sans the team with the Best QB and HC of all time was a consistent contender for 10+ years? Why do y’all care so much about being a decent team in 2025? Like honestly who cares? If the Rams have a down year 3 years from now, it won’t take away their Super Bowl. The Eagles crumbled after winning theirs, but they were still the champs in 2017. The goal is to win? Not be fringe contenders forever.
  6. It’s not rocket surgery as they say.
  7. Okay. Von Miller had 4.5 sacks. The Rams second and third round picks failed to accumulate any stats.
  8. Sack Patrick Mahomes, maybe we don’t need a squib kick. That’s football baby.
  9. The Jags are a really really bad football team.
  10. Imagine wanting to be a 10 win team in 2024 over a Super Bowl champion in 2022. COULDNT BE ME
  11. Von Miller had 4.5 sacks tonight. Trading for Von Miller was fiercely debated as an overpay when he was traded mid season for a second and a third. Would Bills fans trade AJ Epenesa and Zack Moss for a pass rusher who could have 4.5 sacks in a playoff game? Super Bowl winning teams take risks.
  12. They got the best QB prospect in the draft and still got the #1 pick. Lol I don’t think they have to try to lose.
  13. I don’t have enough emojis.
  14. Von Miller had 4.5 sacks tonight. Didn’t you say it was crazy to trade for him with those second and third round picks?
  15. Did cap hell and mortgaging the future work for the Rams yet? Does anyone know? @HappyDays what do you think?
  16. @HappyDays hates the Rams and all they stand for, for whatever reason.
  17. Just not a lot of good options out there for the price tag
  18. AJ doesn't get hurt and is always available because he doesn't play. He has 28 tackles over 2 years. He is about to join Cody Ford on an ice floe.
  19. Wow hard to be more wrong in a post. Eagles were starting their backups because they had clinched playoffs. And the Cowboys had the 7th best defense in points allowed and first in creating turnovers. "Scare no one" lol. Have you heard of Trevon Diggs or Micah Parsons? Also IRT the bolded, that's insane. The Colts have a top tier OL, a top tier rushing attack, a solid receiving group and some great defenders. Their roster is leagues above the Texans. Which is why they outscored the Texans 62-3 in the regular season in their matchups. They won both those games if you were wondering. You may have set the record for most wrong points in a series in TBD history. Congrats!
  20. Yeah Wentz had that one good year, and flashes elsewhere. Comparing him to Stafford is comparing Tannehill to Josh. On-topic, is Gardner Minshew a fit? Certainly limited physically, but can manage a game, isn't prone to blunders that end your season. Obviously, not an ideal QB, may not be their SB QB, but with that nucleus of a team, Minshew may get them to 11 wins.
  21. Because you said this: The Rams have gone to the Super Bowl twice in the last 4 years. Win or lose, their system gave them a shot to win the big one. We have not gotten to a single Super Bowl in 30 years. Our system has not. My favorite trope on TBD is acting like all these other team's strategies don't work because they didn't necessarily win a Super Bowl, unlike our strategy which.... also hasn't produced a Super Bowl. Extremely funny.
  22. We start two DE’s.
  23. Well, they traded a bunch of picks for Goff… I ultimately agree with you. But there is a lesson to be learned and that lesson is the name of the game is acquiring stars because stars win Super Bowls. Not draft picks, not cap space, not trying to be a 10 win team in 2026.
  24. Bro, you can’t play if you’re afraid to lose.
