  1. Excellent total post. How many times do we have to watch this song and dance? The Demarco Murray to Zeke to Tony Pollard saga is the EXACT reason you don’t draft RB’s high and you don’t pay RB’s. Murray went from the best RB in football to out of the league in two seconds. Zeke was great for a couple years and fell off a cliff. I would love a superstar RB. I get it. But it’s not necessary and they are USUALLY bad investments. And it’s bad team building to not treat them any other way than BAD investments. There is not a single instance of a 1st round RB being a good long-term investment in the last decade of the NFL.
  2. Diggs can’t catch every pass. Teams start 3 WR’s and 3 CB’s. Diggs and Tre understand this. And Von Miller has 2-3 years left. We ABSOLUTELY should be still taking shots on pass rushers while he’s here. Having a bunch of good pass rushers is a GOOD thing. Having a bunch of good receivers is a GOOD thing. What you shouldn’t do is throw high picks away on positions like RB and OG that you will let walk if they are Pro Bowlers. The goal with the first round pick is to acquire players you plan to retain. Those are players at impact positions.
  3. Akers is a nobody. So that’s proving my point lmao. I’m saying your path to the Super Bowl is maximizing your QB’s talent. Two years from now, if Diggs wants $45M a year, I want a highly picked WR waiting in the wings to replace him. I DON’T want to be signing stiffs like JuJu Smith Schuster to be my #1 WR. If the Chiefs had drafted a WR 2 years ago, when folks like you were saying “WR isn’t a need for them, they need an RB,” they would be much better off today. You are basically throwing a pick in the dumpster by drafting for “luxury.” Pass rusher, CB, and WR. Those positions are the highest priority for the Bills EVERY YEAR. Because, again, the NFL moves fast.
  4. No I don’t. RB’s truly are dime a dozen players. True difference makers are rarer than hens teeth. Look at the QB-WR combos of the playoff teams this year and then look at the RB’s. Burrow and Chase. Mahomes and Hill. Rodgers and Adams. Brady and Evans. Allen and Diggs. Stafford and Kupp. Derrick Henry was the best RB in the postseason by a mile. One and done. The Rams were trotting out a dude who tore his Achilles 7 months ago. They won it all.
  5. No they wouldn’t because they would still lose their best WR. And they have no one to replace him. The NFL moves fast. Two years ago no one ever imagined Tyreek not being a Chief. Today, no one can imagine Diggs not being a Bill. We should draft a WR high. The Chiefs should have drafted Tee Higgins. Luxury picks do not work. Draft impact players at impact positions, always.
  6. no. Do not draft running backs high ever. Draft players you will retain if they are ProBowlers. Chiefs wasted a pick on CEH. They should have drafted an impact position. also, mrags should stay. @Gugny
  7. Wrong. Allen needed to be better than he was in 2018/19 to be a great starting QB in the NFL. And he did get a million times better. He would admit this. So no reason to pretend he was great back then. He wasn’t.
  8. It is what it is, pass or no. it’s not like he isn’t a great QB now. We don’t have to pretend like he was great as a rookie.
  9. Josh left a lot of plays on the field in years 1 and 2, there’s no reason to deny that.
  10. Bandito also had a lot going on in his personal life from what I remember.
  11. I don’t think even an elite RB moves the needle. I would rather have Tee Higgins than Kamara with an elite QB.
  12. You are moping. It’s embarrassing. Pick yourself up and dust yourself off. We have an off-season to win and our biggest rival just lost their second best player and the most electric WR in football.
  13. Lmao if there’s one thing the Bills do is draft good CB’s. Wtf are you talking about They beat us in an extremely close game. And they got worse this off-season so far. who is writing them off? Maybe you forgot that in every Chiefs loss we have ever had, Tyreek has caught a 6 yard pass and taken it 50 yards. What is the point of moping about this?
  14. The Chiefs got worse today. This is good news.
  15. The Chiefs two years ago decided their offense was pretty complete. They really liked a solid pass catching running back. They drafted CEH in the first. Tee Higgins went 1 pick later. Do you think today they regret taking CEH as a luxury pick? Now their #1 is JuJu. The NFL moves fast. Draft impact players at impact positions ALWAYS.
  16. LMAO no bro. Mahomes was consistently mocked in the top 12. Just because he got picked over Watson (two picks later) doesn't make him a "reach." A reach is a prospect with a 2-3rd round grade going in the first. Josh Allen going 1st overall wouldn't have been a reach. To get pick #10 for a QB, the Chiefs traded pick #27 and next years first (21). To get to pick #7 for a QB, the Bills traded pick #12 and two second round picks (53 and 56). One of those trades is way better than the other. I'll let you figure out which is which.
  17. Not true. Also we got hosed in that trade by falling back 17 spots
  18. Where the ***** have you been dude
  19. The 2017 roster was a wreck that’s why it was a miracle they went to the postseason.
  20. The Douggernaut will be throwing Tomlin under the bus by year one
  21. Sign Wagner first and I’m game.
  22. He will stay a Browns fans, keep his tickets and cheer for Watson.
  23. GB continued to be the Most American Across The Pond. This man just gets it. Too few do these days. Side note, where are all the people who were pumped about player empowerment and being able to screw over franchises? Talk about a precedent set. Watson just made the Browns get on their knees and pay his sexual assault fines. ”I only like it when it happens to certain people,” amirite?
  24. Do those threads still exist? That scandal was outrageous.
