  1. I think if you think a defensive head coach calling a fake punt on his own 30 in the 4th Q was “playing it safe,” it’s a personal problem.
  2. The 2023 Bills.
  3. The Uber talented 2020-2021 Carolina Panthers.
  4. When I saw Damar Hamlin tip toeing to try to get that first down, I wished I had a more aggressive HC who wasn’t just playing it safe.
  5. Every single one of those games were playoff and single elimination games. If you’re trying to make a point about defense in the playoffs, include all the playoff games lmao. I mean, did we expect to beat the Bengals with 10 points?
  6. Why don’t you include playoffs on a whole instead of losses
  7. Yes, my point was that he would be snapped up in a second. folks don’t understand how much McD did in the NFL community by bringing the Bills back. Wouldn’t a team like the Bears kill for that?
  8. Those people were insane. I’m not insane.
  9. 2020 our offense was terrible too my dude. Josh and offense really just skating by on one game lmao He would be. Are you agreeing with me?
  10. They also throw the ball to Ricard. He had 5 catches for 52 yards on the year. Those are Trent Sherfield numbers.
  11. I watched the whole presser and I felt like Beane was distancing himself from McD quite a bit. My memory is a bit hazy, but in previous pressers I felt like he used a lot more “we, us” language and talked about the team as a collaboration between him and Sean. This presser, I felt like he was, consciously or not, really separating his part of the job from Sean’s. Not in a bad way or blaming way, but kind of putting Sean on island with certain things, and even including the job Sean was doing under his purview of “evaluation.” May be an over read, but my money is on Beane surviving if Sean got canned next year.
  12. If McD was fired, he’d have a head coaching job tomorrow.
  13. Don’t even get me starting on H-backs.
  14. Very cool for Rex Ryan I guess, he was a few plays away from still being a bad coach
  15. I think he might be. Ricard and Juice are probably the only 2 dudes I take over him.
  16. That’s the point? ”Aw man, it really sucks being the 4th best playoff team, I’m so happy our team is 5-11 and talking about taking a left tackle with the 4th overall pick” - said nobody, ever. The rat and his handler.
  17. I think I went to Matt Cassel vs Trent Edwards, season finale at home in 2008. Miserable conditions. My gloves needed gloves. Anyone who says that sucks less than losing to what might be the second greatest or greatest QB/coach combo in NFL history in the playoffs is actually insane.
  18. Nothing hurts more than a December home game when you’re mathematically eliminated. You just forgot how much it hurt.
  19. I fault Ed. It’s understandable, but like they say, you want to be a star, you gotta give me a star effort.
  20. They changed the voting system last year.
  21. They would have in the playoffs.
  22. If only Jim Kelly had a HoF supporting cast. Also, in what context is more picks than touchdowns good? At dinner with Mark Sanchez?
  23. Jim Kelly’s SB numbers. 2 TD’s 7 INT’s across 4 games. Guy threw 21 TD’s to 28 picks in the postseason in 17 games. Troy Aikman in his 3 Super Bowl games, 4 TD’s 1 INT. Troy had 23 TD’s to 17 picks in the postseason in 16 games. Yeah, kinda clear who was the best here. It’s not surprising that folks who think Kelly was better in the postseason than Aikman also think Josh Allen is better than Mahomes.
  24. Manning would probably have more rings but not as many as Brady. Aikman for sure would have won us a Super Bowl, Jim was a choker.
