This isn’t a true statement. It’s ONE strategy that players use. The other one is to not show up to things. There isn’t a right or wrong way, it’s just a different strategy

This means absolutely nothing-who cares how he scored the goals? I have been seeing this argument for days now, that somehow his goals count less because he scored so many from one spot. His jib is to score goals, if everyone knows that’s where he shoots from, how come they can’t stop him? we have such a weird sports society where we always look to diminish greatness for some reason. It’s because he talked about money and now some people are butthurt by it that being said if they did deal him, he will never have a higher value than he does now. That doesn’t mean he will move the needle much in terms of the 1st round

If he’s not traded by the draft, then keep him. Once the draft passes there’s no incentive to trade him and he has no leverage-sitting out wont get him paid. And if Cook is a distraction, then that’s the fault of the other players, including Josh. There’s enough leadership on that locker room that there shouldn’t be an issue

The guy hasn’t made a peep in 3 years, took his benching as a rookie incredibly well, has played his ass off the last 2 years, had worked incredibly hard on his catching and being able to run through contact…what has he done that makes him not a process guy? at no point has anyone said this before what was said on Instagram. I'm not saying that the NFLPA is going to do anything legally. To think that Josh and other players aren't getting advice from their agents and the NFLPA is poor thinking. I'm also not saying that players don't take less than they can get, but they aren't going to take a deal well below market value. Brady took less, everyone knows that, but it's not like he was taking $1 million when he could be getting $25 million. He was still always among the top 5-10 paid QBs in the league, he was just never the top paid guy. This has somehow devolved from thinking from a realistic and common sense point of view into a legal discussion

So a couple of things-the NFLPA does represent every player, so they aren’t going to let someone take far less than what that players value is. If Josh takes $50-$100 million less to “help the team” what’s going to stop the teams from asking all players to take less? A team certainly isn’t going g to pay more for a WR, DE, LT than they are a top flight QB. Also, this is a business and Josh understands that part too. He feels loyalty to the Bills but he also feels loyalty to every other player in the league. These guys all want to see each other get paid. Josh is going to keep the price somewhat high because that means the next guy and the guy after that will get paid. These GMs and front office people are paid a ton of money as well, it’s not the players job or responsibility to make everything fit under the cap, it’s the front office-so they have to do their job as well

See this is why fans aren’t GMs. We go through this every year-people want to trade away guys when their value is at its lowest. It makes absolutely no sense to trade Kincaid at this point
