Stopping the Miami Offense (and Tua the wizard) - Lets hear the ideas.
Ya Digg? replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the big thing is you have to throw off Tua’s timing. He has shown in the past that when he’s not able to throw on time he can struggle. It’s definitely going to be a hard game to win, the def line will need to have another big game. Knock Tua down, make him uncomfortable, move him off his spot -
Serious topic: it’s time to trade for DJ Moore

I don’t want them to give up a first for a guy they have no shot at signing after the season. -
What you don’t love to continually talk about a guy who’s no longer here and the Bills found a suitable replacement? If this thread sticks around all year I think this will outrank the Skelton for Mario thread for worst of all time.

I’ll take “struggling” to an average of 34 points all day every day…some people clearly weren’t hugged enough as kids and it shows
-
That’s all subjective though-most people loved when Prince did halftime but I’m not a fan of Prince so I thought it sucked. I loved the Dr. Dre/Eminem halftime but lots of people didn’t

Did I miss something in the GDT? Are these real comments about Dorsey or am I just not recognizing the joke? 170 yards rushing, converted 9 third downs, no sacks given up, offense scored 30 points…I’m confused

Do you really not get why? Or did you just want to publicly make a “get off my lawn” statement?

Because it’s an ENTERTAINMENT event it’s not just a sports event

People love Herbert because they are looking for the next Josh. Here’s the good and bad of Herbert: The Good can make throws similar to Josh (but not as well or as frequently) Doesn’t turn the ball over as much as Josh does The Bad Pretty much everything else People will say it’s because of the defense and there’s some validity in that, but when you have the amount of weapons he has at WR and RB you should be able to win at least some of the shootouts he gets into

On the flip side, if this happened to Diggs there would be a lot of people not happy with the raiders safety

Yes actually I am. You think the Jets wouldn’t had 4 turnovers if Rodgers was playing?
-
So you can only go off the teams they have played, but Dallas seems like fools gold to me. Yes they won both games easily, but it was the Giants and a Zach Wilson led Jets team. I would like to see them play some better competition

OT: will that FG block by the Pats fundamentally change kicks?

How is that cheating? That’s really good preparation on their part. i actually think it’s going to be a little harder to defend than just holding the ball an extra second or so by the snapper. You don’t want to mess with the kicker’s timing or internal clock, that could definitely cause the kicker to miss -
These sound like wishful thinking to me. Maybe Josh takes less than he could actually get, but to think he won’t get money in the same area or exceed those contracts isn’t realistic. Hurts and Herbert got a ton of money, Tua and Lawrence are gonna get paid-Josh will get a significant bump when he renegotiates

I think they are only sold for multiple game packages. I don’t believe they are sold for single games…I also could be completely wrong but yes, no cash anywhere at the stadium

To me it actually seemed like a lot of people just assumed the stadium parking lot would be full because of all the traffic, because when we walked in there were definitely still spots left. It was really slow sledding getting close to the stadium though

If/when you go to a game this year, plan for some extra time in your car. We planned on arriving around 9:15-9:30 and it took us awhile to really get anywhere down Abbott road

Week 2, Rayduhs v. Bills, 09/17/2023 - GAME BALLS
Ya Digg? replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I completely agree with this. Let him stay out there unless you really need a bigger body in there. Don’t rotate him out just for the sake of rotating him out -
Elam a healthy scratch part deux (now part TRES) (now part QUATRO)

I fully disagree with “any” trade value. He has more value to the team than a couple of late round picks. He’s a corner black still on his rookie contract so he’s cheap. He has shown he can play (was the teams best corner in the playoffs last year) so you keep him unless another team offers something good. Late rounds picks shouldn’t be the definition of good -

I thought Oliver had the best game of anyone on the defense today, he absolutely gets a game ball. Everyone in my section today was talking about how good he looked -
So you spend most of the post talking about how amazing Lawrence is, mention how bad Josh is, and then you say you would pick Josh? Not only that, but you even said it yourself-in Lawrence’s only playoff game, he threw 4 interceptions! Seems like you wanted to pick Lawrence but ended up going with Josh because you didn’t want any downvotes
-
While the 186 threads talking about bad he played/prepared/off-season/blah blah blah is definitely excessive, he’s allowed to get criticized for what was probably his worst game as a pro

Do the Bills need a " Quarterback Whisperer?"
Ya Digg? replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sorry but these to me are ridiculous. You guys are pretty much saying if he doesn’t throw a temper tantrum a la OBJ in New York he has no fight in him. This whole “football players must be men and show their anger and wear their emotions on their sleeve” statements are just simply not true -

Outside of the one Kyle Allen thing, how often were you hearing about him getting drunk? The whole he plays golf thing is overplayed in my mind as well. A lot of these athletes play a lot of golf in the offseason, and Josh has played a lot of golf since his rookie season so to me the golf thing is a huge pile of nothing
