Generally I don’t click on the thread, I don’t want to ruin anyone’s fun so I just ignore it. I don’t know why I clicked on the thread this time. Morbid curiosity I guess.

It leaves no realistic wiggle room to allow for human progression outside of the standard numerical progression structure allowed by the proponents of metrics. No statistical system has ever been written to account for Tom Brady, Kurt Warner, Fred Jackson, Josh Allen etc. etc. etc. There will always be outliers but some of these metrics only guys are so firmly entrenched in proving they are correct that they are unable to modify their modeling when it is obvious that the mold has been broken.

I guess it’s just me but I’ve been lurking this board for over a decade and I have always rolled my eyes when this pops up. It’s just tired
