If you mean downtown ‘proper’, there is only one - the aforementioned AMC on Main Street. Also has a bar inside (McGuffin’s). Elsewhere in the city, there’s the Northpark on Hertel Ave.(classic old movie theater, but has only one screen), and the giant multi-screen Regal Cinema way up on Elmwood Avenue. .

They say that if Mama Cass Elliott would have given half her sandwich to Karen Carpenter, they’d both have lived. . -
Will Vince be strapping on the pads and lacing up his cleats? I would pay to see him get his clock cleaned! .

Yes, I suppose my interests in baseball and lacrosse are obscure, to some. Nothing could be more obscure than my interest in the NHL’s worst team, several years running. . -

Kaufman was not funny, nor ahead of his time in any way, shape, or form. He was, in fact, an obnoxious ignoramus who gave all Jewish persons a black eye. Only thing he did right was die, and not soon enough. JMO. My favorite Kaufman video (NSFW)... -

Keith is one of my all time favs, as a rock ‘n’ roller, and as a character. Self-acknowledgely, not one of the world’s finest guitarists, but, IMHO, one of the finest at what he does. Also, very humble at acknowledging the great legends, including Robert Johnson and Hank Williams. -
Yeah, but still so surreal, considering the bizarre quality of his creative work, and the life-long company of fellow musicians. Perhaps one of the most brilliant to ever lay fingers on a Gibson or Fender, when I saw him he drank coffee and smoked Winstons. Said tobacco was his favorite vegetable.

Put Zappa at the top of that list - and yet, he fired Steve Vai for smoking a joint. Does anyone really believe the ‘Mothers of Invention’ were not severely drug-influenced? (I have to go away now ... weasels are ripping my flesh...) .

Yes, certainly I’ve told you how much I won at the casino last nite...Did I neglect to tell you how much I’ve lost, over the years? ? I’ve bought every ‘game-improvement’ accoutrement...clubs, balls, shoes, bag, gloves, ad nausea... still haven’t broke 80. ?️♂️ My favorite golf video (if a pro can put 3 off the tee into Lake Michigan, I don’t feel as bad about my own ‘water-seeking’ shots)...

Rodney did not die young, but yes, too soon. I’ll remember the last joke I ever heard...when asked, “How long you think you’ll be in the hospital?” Rodney replied, “If everything goes well, five days...if not, five hours!” ? . Oh stop that! Bill Wyman also survived. Every day, every moment, every breath, is a gift from God, to be savored and enjoyed. . -

Probably, since they had already fired him. Mick Taylor cynically referred to himself as the only person to leave the Stones and live. -
OK, so I’m out for a walk with my best pal on a hot summer day, and we stop in to this pub for some refreshments (Rufus loves Molson...jumps up, puts his paws on the bar and hollars, “Woof!”) There’s a big sign above the bar, “No Dogs Allowed” Bartender sez, “Buddy, can’t you read?” I plead, “This ain’t no ordinary dog - he’s a talking dog...” Beertender sez, “Come on, buddy...” I say, “I’ll prove it... Rufus, what’s that on top of our house?” He yells, “Wooof” “See? He just said ‘roof’!” ”Try again, pal...” ”OK, Rufus, when you put your paw on sandpaper, how does it feel?” ”Woof!” ”See? He just said ‘rough’!” ”Pal, you’re outa here...” ”No no, Rufus, who’s the greatest baseball player ever?” ”Wooof!!!” ”See? He just said ‘Ruth!” So, we’re walking home, after being tossed out, and Rufus looks at me and sez, ”Maybe I shoulda said DiMaggio?”
