  1. When you consider that Rich Stadium held 80,020 when it opened and Ralph somehow shoehorned another 400 seats into the place (I believe sellout capacity was around 80,400 during the Superbowl run), it's amazing that a city like Buffalo consistently used to have sell outs. At one point, back in the late '80s/early '90sm RW was even ruminating about taking capacity up to 100,000 by filling in the corners! Bills fans are as loyal as they come - start winning consistently, give us a playoff-caliber product, and the place will be filled every week. GO BILLSSS!!!! 14 and 6 baby!!!!! 2. Well we do have Wannstache waiting in the wings for defensive coordinator - and I guess Joe Paterno is available too, if that would make Ralph more comfortable. On the offense side of the ball, 'The Pirate' is still available but the Bills would have to grab him quickly before he ends up at either Washington State, UCLA, Kansas, or Ole Miss... Mike Leach, Washington State Cougars Head Coaching Candidate: Too Good To Be True? VINCENT BONSIGNORE on UCLA: Mike Leach should be UCLA's next football coach If Kansas Can't Get Mike Leach, Then Jim Leavitt Or Brent Venables Warrant A Call Ole Miss search should start with Mike Leach, Rich Rodriguez
  3. Lord Layton would have jumped in and broken it up, dontcha think, eh?
  4. Here's another good site for info on specific players, player rankings by position, and projected draft round/position... NFL Draft Scout
  5. I am just hoping the Bills can contribute to Norv's demise by winning next Sunday in San Diego... GO BILLSSS!!!! 14 and 6 baby!!!!! "I expect to win." - Chan Gailey
  6. Interesting idea. I believe Leach could do that, probably the only one who could pull it off successfully too. 'The Pirate' could simultaneously coach in both college and the NFL, only not coast-to-coast. Maybe Ole Miss on Saturdays and Jacksonville on Sundays? Then again, there's another NFL team - much closer to Leach's current home in Key West - with a coach on the hot seat... 7. After his respite in Key West, could 'The Pirate' be comtemplating his return to Malibu??? (He has his law degree from Pepperdine) Leach could work miracles recruiting QBs and top talent to the Left Coast and the Pac 12 in the 'Thong-Bikini Capital of the World') Link - Mike Leach should be UCLA's next football coach
  8. The season ended already? Dammit, no one tells me nothin' anymore GO BILLSSS!!!! 14 and 6 baby!!!!! "I expect to win." - Chan Gailey

  10. It'd be fun to see a certain pirate back on the sidelines in the Big 12
  11. I with you, Justin..reaady to move on, after just one more thing... Personally, I usually hate over-the-top hot-dogging by arrogant, attention-starved, overpaid and overgrown children masquerading as professional athletes - but I though Stevie's 'celebration' was hilarious. ALL of it - the dancing, shooting himself in the leg, and the Jet crash. Just a bit too premature, since it was the Bills that crashed! (I also believe it was most definitely well-though out and choreographed way beforehand, despite SJ's ridiculously insincere attempt to insist otherwise.) As for the ensuing penalty, yeah, Johnson cost us yardage - but I hang the decision to squib kick on DeHaven and the botched kick on Dave Rayner. (Some lunatic TSW poster - I think he's that same crazy Mike Leach fan - kept insisting that the Bills draft Nebraska PK Alex Henery, which may have been a good idea after all.) I hope Stevie grows up and curtails the tweets and the showboating. He's a great player and fun personality, but when it gets to the point that it hurts your team, it's time to stop. There, that was cathartic. GO BILLSSS!!!! 14 and 6 baby!!!!! "I expect to win." - Chan Gailey
  12. The Jags had best move fast before they miss out - Illinois, UCLA, Memphis, Kansas, Washington State, and Ole Miss are all in the running for... Mike Leach
  13. I had to go with the Pack, partly because Graham Harrell deserves a second Superbowl ring, but mainly because you had no check-box for... "Screw you, Sage - I like you just fine when you're not farting lentils and crapping gravy, but the Bills ARE going 14 and 6 baby!!!! "
  14. Some very prescient comments (from an extremely brilliant coach) regarding Twitter, made back in 2009... Coach Mike Leach said Monday he has banned his players from using Twitter...Leach said players don't need Twitter or Facebook, calling them "stupid" distractions... "I think that a guy who plays... football gets enough attention," he said. It's "a bunch of narcissists that want to sit and type stuff about themselves all the time. We'll put mirrors in some of their lockers if that's necessary but they don't have to Twitter." - Mike Leach
  15. Sorry Big Cat, but even THIS eternal Bills optimist isn't in much of a "Talkin' Proud" frame of mind after yesterday's fiasco. I'm feeling more like...

  18. If Matt Barkley's available when we pick in round one, you take him. Dude went 35/42 against UCLA yesterday - 82% completions, 423 passing yards, 215 rating, 6 TDs, no INTs. I would not be surprised if Polian passed on Luck and took Barkley, who is the better QB of the two. Even Nix is not stupid enough to pass on Barkley. (And if Barkley's not available, just draft the entire Alabama defense!) In round 2, Courtney Upshaw or Dont'a Hightower... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAzvrSZ3_8E
  19. Upshaw would be a great pick - as would teammate Donta Hightower if he comes out after this year, his junior season. But don't forget the o-line either - we cut Wang and need to... Adcock
  20. After you sign Graham Harrell off GB's practice squad.
  21. 14 and 5 baby!!!! GO BILLSSS!!!! "I expect to win." - Chan Gailey
  22. I still think Brandon Weedon would look good in Bills blue!
  23. Well RichRod's certainly out of the picture... Rich Rodriguez Named Arizona Football's Next Head Coach ...but you're right - it takes about 5 seconds or less for Leach's name to come up any time a head coaching position becomes open, whether or not the school is actually considering him. Mike Leach Interested in Old Miss Job In the case of Ole Miss, it was former coach Houston Nutt actually fueling the Leach angle... Mike Leach, Gus Malzahn among possible candidates for Ole Miss football coach Personally, I still think Leach will end up at UCLA next season - though there is also that big opening at Penn State
  24. I've been saying all season that Barkley will be a better NFL QB than Andy-Boy. Unfortunately the Bills would still have to 'lose out' to have a shot at drafting Barkley. I'm sure there are some here that would support - even encourage - losing, but the Bills will have to be content drafting someone like Arizona's Nick Foles or OSU's Brandon Weedon on day 3 to groom behind Fitz for a season or two. It'll be interesting to see which one Polian picks - Luck or Barkely. GO BILLSSS!!!! 14 and 5 baby!!!!! "I expect to win." - Chan Gailey
