My first Bills game was in 1979 too. Young pre-teen, 1st time I heard my dad use the F word. We parked the car far from the stadium to be the 1st ones out 🙄 He pats his coat pocket a few times and said " Don't forget the F ing tickets" 😀 He covered his mouth with a gasp & we laughed. Well....he broke his cherry, because I heard a couple of thousand from that moment on haha. Watch his You Tube highlights. He was fast even in slow motion. It's not old man hype, he was that good!

My dad was a Bills fan, so.... I became a Bills fan. Same with the Sabres.

With McBeane still as GM, we might have 75% Panthers on the Bills too 😀

Woman I worked with years ago had a Golden. They pre-prepped basically an entire Thanksgiving meal for about a dozen people. They left the house, dog learned how to open the fridge. Arrived home and food was strewn all over the kitchen, etc... She was so pissed, but glad the dog was ok. Had to get kid locks for the fridges and cupboards from then on. Yeah... Google search Vizsla photos. They have the most beautiful eyes, they just look right into your soul. 🥲 Dramatically beautiful creatures!

As a vet of mine once said. There's dog owners & Golden owners. About as charming as sweet of dog you can own.. I've had 2 Golden's, have a Vizsla/ Golden mix from Hawaii now. Sweetest mix! Vizsla's are nicknamed Velcro dogs. Great combination if you like that neediness, which I do. GIF is a Vizsla, many people haven't heard of them.

AND ...... You can time Coleman with a calendar too in the 40! 😉 Who would've thought Coleman would face the most negativity from some of his own fan base... 😐 I'm rooting for him now out of spite, not as a Bills fan, but to zip some lips on this board.

We had a fundraiser to donate funds to raise money to defeat cancer. Called celebrity bar tender. Local Buffalo TV broadcasters, DJ's Bills players Sabres etc... There was like a $10 cover charge at the door to get in. Mark Kelso walks up, one of our celebrity bar tenders and the girl we had collecting the cover charge asks him for $10 bucks. I said no, he's one of our celebrities. He laughed, Gave her the $10 and said, don't worry about it. Class act! 🙂

I worked at a place that hosted the Thurman Thomas show back in the early '90s. Darryl Talley, amongst other Bills were there too. We were all eating together in a banquet room, Darryl had ordered a small liquor on the rocks, this was shortly after his DWI. A friend of the owners was there & said to Darryl a couple of times hey boy watch it with the alcohol you don't want another DWI again. Then he said hey boy careful with the liquor we need you this Sunday. We went in the back room for a private signing shortly thereafter & Darryl said to me he says "you tell that MF'er if he calls me boy one more time I'm going to bust his ass. 😀 Darrell was super pissed we just kept this guy away from him as much as we could the rest of the night.

The only good thing about it for me was.... I was young! Promotion/ Marketing Coordinator working in a restaurant/ bar surrounded by a couple of hundred Bills fans in the Falls. When they lined up for the kick, it was such a good fateful season that year for the Bills. The ruining of super hyped Jeff George NFL debut with the no huddle, the crazy Broncos 3 score comeback in a minute or so, crushing the Browns via shutout, the crazy windy Phoenix game & then 51-3! I never felt so sure about a Buffalo team that the kick was gonna be good & celebrate forever, it was our moment.... and then it wasn't and created infamy ever since. Tough being a Bills fan 🫤, but... we got an ace in Josh Allen, we've got a chance 🫰
